To be honest, this was the best experience my family has had with a veterinarian practice. (Of course my pup had a great experience too which says a lot!). From the scheduling process, to the appointment itself and follow-up, everything has been great. We came from a different practice, Woodley Gardens made the transition so easy with obtaining all of my dogs prior records from multiple practices which made everything so much easier. My dog has inflammatory bowel disease and is under very specific care and a special diet because of this. Dr. Lowenthal has already been an amazing help with continuing care for my dog's disease and also helping us maintain communication with our dog's internist. I highly recommend this practice!

Been going here somewhere on 8 years on and off with moving. Took fantastic care of my bulldog, was always pleasant and knowledgeable, and the dog would be happy walking in. When we moved and came back to the area, we returned to their care and was very happy to be able to go back. Everyone and every pet is different, but I would recommend with no reservations giving here a try for your veterinary needs!

This vet deserves all the hype! I am VERY picky about where I take my cat. I don't want to go anywhere that has any valid bad reviews. So, basically only five stars will do for my cat.
I came here transferring out of a town and it was so seamless! I was able to set it up online, but did have to do a follow up phone call as I was a first time patient, which I understand. They were readily available by phone and easy and quick to set up an appointment.
I drove from DC and had an appointment with Dr Nichols. She was wonderful! She gave me time to address my concerns, listening to me, and truly cared about my cat as more than just a number. I felt valued and heard here and will be coming here for a long time!
DEFINITELY worth the drive from DC and it was affordable as well, but still great quality.

This is a truly amazing vet clinic. Everyone is very friendly and professional. My cats usually saw Dr. Nichols, who is very great. Everything is a very fair price. I also appreciate that they have given me itemized treatment plans and told me what is absolutely necessary, and which things were ok to hold off on when I was a little tight on money.
Additionally, now that I've moved out of the area, they sent well-documented, detailed records to my new vet. I highly recommend this vet!

My pets and I love coming here! The space is always neat and orderly, the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly (Brianna is for sure my fave vet tech!), and they always make me feel at ease whether it's a routine checkup or a last minute appointment

This is the best vet I've been to with my dog during his 3 years of life! We have moved a couple of times, and finding a new vet can be difficult. I really appreciate how responsive Woodley Gardens is - they always respond to emails and calls, which I've never experienced before. Also, Dr. Storm is very kind and compassionate and spends a good amount of time with us explaining what he's going to do. My dog is extremely anxious and reactive, and he and the staff have been so patient.

The veterinarian is the most important human being in my pets lives. I had to change veterinarian in the middle of COVID, which was not an easy task and they welcome me with my wild four-legged children.
All the staff, front desk, vet techs are all amazing, professional, efficient, responsive to any request, and then Dr. Storm... He is the most amazing diagnostician I have ever met, and I met a few veterinarians along the way, a long way!
He cares, he is patient, always takes the time to explain what's happening in one of my dogs or my last cat standing.
He was the one to put my 14 year old lab to sleep last May. He is on top of everything. I said this for someone else, but I am going to say it for him as well. I do hope that every four-legged kid has a Dr. Storm in their lives.

WGVC has taken excellent care of our 2 year old pup Crispin, since he was 8 weeks old. Crispin manages to get himself in to all manners of trouble (mostly by eating things he shouldn't) and Dr. Storm and his friendly staff have helped us through it all.
I know all vets have waits these days, so naturally sometimes there is a wait to get an appointment, but when we have had serious problem they've found a way to squeeze us in. I love that I can reach out to them via their app to ask non-urgent questions.

The office staff really care and take the time to explain procedures, medications and costs, the app they have is so fast to order meds or keep up with appts. They seem to really take pride in their quality customer service. They have Great communication with reminders and phone calls about labs and updates.

Dr. Lowenthal has taken fantastic care of all our children (pets) since 2010. She has been there for our trials, tribulations, and triumphs. My wife and I initially found her when we needed acupuncture for our older Dalmatian and we have loved her ever since. Dr. Lowenthal has taken great care of our pets, in total, 10 cats and dogs. We have such faith in her, we truthfully can say, where she goes, we go.

Words do not adequately express my gratitude for Vet Tech Cece's warm welcome and that of Dr. Heather Lowenthal, DVM. My two year old former feral male cat, Sweet Boy was handled most kindly with reassuring and calming voices so that he could be thorough examined, have blood drawn and be given his annual Rabies vaccination. He was also given a topical dose of flea/tick repellant which I will continue with next month. All staff at Woodley Gardens Veterinary hospital all terrific! I'll be back for sure!

I rarely leave reviews but I wouldn't trust anyone else but Dr.Nichols and the team at Woodley Gardens Vet with my two kitties. They have been exemplary in their care for my asthmatic kitty and nothing but understanding in fielding my anxious questions on how to best take care of her needs. Not only that, but the gentleness and love they show both my kitties, even just for simply check ups and shots leaves me (and my kitties) leaving knowing we were well taken care of and not simply another number.Their care goes above and beyond and we are so lucky to have them in the neighbourhood.

I am away at college and my dog was attacked by another dog. I want to thank Woodley Gardens Veterinary for working with my budget and starting treatment on my dog. I was really stressed that I would not be able to get him treated but they were very lenient and helped me out!
