I visited the store today around 8:30 pm, and the customer service was very bad. I waited for someone to come and help me, than the lady who supposed to help was at another register shopping for herself. After she finished, she called another guy to help me to pick up some money. Then the guy told me to wait again because I might not be able to pick up money more than $500 seriously. After he called the same women that did not help me because she was shopping for herself, she said they do not do more than $500. So, close the store and do not say that the store Open until 10:00 pm. Worse experience ever. Do not wast your time going there :(

This grocery store is overpriced, understaffed, and the interior stairs are always dirty. The Starbucks inside is not staffed consistently and the tables over by the window are STICKY. I do not recommend this store.

I like this location. The only tricky part is the parking lot . It is small and getting in/out can be tricky. The pharmacy staff are friendly. The pharmacist is great about answering questions. The store has two levels. You can take your cart on the elevator. It is easy to miss where the carts are located inside the store. Walk through the entrance and look to the right. Other Harris Teeter locations have them in the entrance way.

I recently had an exceptionally good experience here, while trying to fill a Continuous Glucose Monitoring system (Libre 2) prescription, using Medicare as my primary insurer. Ultimately, this pharmacy was not able to obtain Medicare's authorization to issue the CGM system -- but neither were the FIVE other local pharmacies that I subsequently went to. I later discovered that Medicare's own confusing policies, and the contradictions in its own published guidance regarding coverage of CGM systems, were to blame -- not any of the local retail pharmacists who were unable to fill my prescription. (In the end, I was able to obtain the Libre 2 supplies from a specially Medicare-licensed "durable medical equipment" supplier in California.) Anyway: what has impressed me so favorably about this Harris Teeter pharmacy was the sustained effort that the assistant pharmacist (Sail) made in investigating and trying to resolve this problem with Medicare, and in keeping me fully informed while he was doing so, over the course of several days. Absolutely 5-star customer service! I intend to be a loyal customer at this Harris Teeter store.

Had to wait till 10:30am for the WU-capable manager to come to work despite the location is supposed to open at 7am. Once the manager arrived, things went smoothly.

I was there today OCT 15th, approximately 530PM, the manager "RICHARD" and his coworker have no idea what they are doing. Just wasted 30 minutes of time.

NOT handicapped or family friendly. The entire checkout area is not designed with people in wheelchairs, driving handicapped grocery carts, or parents with strollers in mind. Think Costco-style with carts and register person on one side, and checkout area/credit card machine on the other - however the area you place groceries is on the "cart" side, and is barely larger than a square foot. If you have a kid in a stroller you then have to weave through a small opening to the other side to pay. How would you do that in a wheelchair? Unbelievably insensitive design.

The express lane is, and has been a joke for a long time. I use it frequently as it's easier than getting my young kids in and out of the car when we are in a rush. In theory... it's awesome. But, 9 times out of 10, I'm the only one in the express lane and IF they even pick up the buzz line... it's always 10-15 minutes. One time, they never picked up, I parked, got the kids out of the car... went to customer service. The lady was dealing with western union with a customer and told me I had to wait. Waited 20 mins to be helped. During the wait, I asked SIX employees who had passed by the station and I'll I got was shrugged shoulders. Finally, a manager came up and I got my express fee of $5 waived. All in all that trip was 40 minutes. As I write this, I've been sitting at the express lane, only car here for just under 20 mins. It's a good store... but they HAVE to step up their express lane game.
