THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!I regularly call pharmacies to call in prescriptions as I work for a Doctor's office. I have never dealt with this level of laziness and incompetence. They kept me on hold for over 30 MINUTES! Only to tell me they can not take any prescriptions over the phone and that it should be faxed. There is also no other way of obtaining their fax number unless you call! Please avoid this pharmacy if you can help it, they will only waste your time and money!

The service at this pharmacy is very bad. Whenever I go to pick up my medications I have to wait 15-30 mins minimum. This time I just lost it. My doctor prescribed me certain brand of birth controls which they were out of stock. I was completely fine with substituting it with a generic brand so they told me to wait so that they can get it ready. The person who attended me left the station and after 15 mins another person asked me what was the issue. I patiently explained the issue and she said will get that ready in no time and told me to wait near the consultation window. Again the person continued to attend the other people and then the pharmacist asked me again what was the issue. I had to explain her the issue again and finally she gave me the generic brand pills. This whole situation took 30-40 mins to resolve. The mismanagement is really bad and no one knows what the hell is happening. I am now planning to change my pharmacy to a different one.

I didn’t think things could get worse here but they have! The pharmacy is terrible. It got better for a little bit, but it’s back to being bad. I can never get ahold of anyone when I call.
Earlier today I kept calling and it was saying it was a none working number.
I finally got a hold of them and I was just put on hold for 18 minutes. Someone kept answering and kept telling me to hold. Eventually my call was dropped. I think hung up on actually because they ended up closing right at 6 pm and I called at 5:45. The right thing to do would have been to answer the call before they close but no of course they didn’t do that. I may really have to stop going here even though it’s more convenient because this is ridiculous! I’m out of my medication but they could care less.
Another ridiculous incident that happened two weeks ago: I was in line. When it was my turn, the cashier pulls out her phone and starts texting right in front of me and everyone else.
They could care less about customers here.
I’m sure they don’t treat employees well either and that needs to change as well.
Maybe there’s other pharmacies that treat both employees and customers well. Going to try to find one of those.

This pharmacy has gone downhill over the last few months. Fights in the store, pharmacy won’t answer the phone. The only way you can speak to anyone these days is by going in person.

If zero stars were possible, I’d give that rating. Rude doesn’t begin to describe treatment by pharmacy workers. It took over an hour of being placed on repeat hold, a disconnected call from the pharmacy manager, and a plea to the general store manager to walk back to the pharmacy to ask them to pick up the phone and talk to a customer. If you need help, seek elsewhere.

I’m not sure why the pharmacist thought it was a good idea to close a register when there was a line of customers to pick up meds and the emerging manager should not argue with customers and has to be faster checking out customers.

Erica and Neda at the Pharmacy were incredibly helpful and nice. I have no clue how they read what they have to read. Erica was friendly, quick and knowledgeable. I usually dread the pharmacy runs... not anymore because of Erica!

FOR PHARMACY: Awful, awful service. I was at my doctors office while he was trying to speak to the pharmacist. First call, he was on hold for 20 minutes, then disconnected. Second call, he was hold for 10 minutes, then disconnected. My doctor refused to call back and I had a find a Giant.

Huge Walgreens located in a strip mall off of Seven Locks Rd in Potomac. They offer all kinds of vaccine shots such as shingles, flu, etc., they're "free" but they will charge your health insurance provider. No idea what happens if you have no insurance.

I can personally attest to what a recent article in the Washington Post had to say about Walgreens, whose workers are walking out over the terrible conditions. This particular location is woefully understaffed, and the poor pharmacists and technicians are overwhelmed, doing double duty in attending to deluges of both prescriptions and vaccinations. They are also having to deal with abuse from irate customers, who don't understand that the terrible customer service is a choice that's made at the corporate level. It's a tragedy waiting to happen: before long (if it hasn't happened already), one of the overworked employees is going to make a mistake and a customer is going to get the wrong prescription and be killed by it.
