ALWAYS painfully slow, with no sense of urgency. Even when the line is extremely long, no one will open a second register. Either poorly managed or understaffed, but the long wait times are unacceptable.

This store has major issues!!!! Picked up an online order and it was wrong. Went to return it and all that was refunded was the $.05 bag fee. I will now go in for a third time to speak to a manager!

Heed the reviews-this is hands down the absolute WORST place to go for any type of needs. We are a family of 6 and live close by, however any script or photo purchase has been disorganized, delayed, not prepared, or flat out missing. The manager is completely unhelpful and the pharmacy staff all rude and disrespectful. I have changed all prescriptions to CVS on Tuckerman and will never use this location, despite its convenience to my home.

I recently visited this Walgreens pharmacy and had an incredibly disappointing experience. I scheduled an appointment online to get my flu shot, ensuring my address and insurance details were up to date. I arrived 5 minutes early, but was only called back 10 minutes after my scheduled time.
When I met with the pharmacist, she claimed she couldn’t find my insurance information, even though I provided my insurance card and confirmed my active coverage through the insurance app. She then told me to call my insurance company or pay $41 out of pocket with a coupon. Upon reviewing the information, I noticed she had entered an outdated address into their system. Despite pointing this out, she refused to update it, stating she had a long line of people waiting.
Frustrated, I left and booked an appointment at CVS instead. At the CVS Cabin John Parkway location, the process was smooth, and they had no trouble verifying my insurance. I was able to get my flu shot promptly and without any hassle.
Walgreens’ disorganization and lack of customer care were disappointing.

I really like the cashiers at this location. They are always very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately sometimes you have to wait for someone to come to the cash register. I wonder if the store is understaffed.
The prescription pharmacy is not that great. I have email notifications when the prescription is ready, and the last few times I get a notification, come in to pick up the medicine only to learn that it will be ready tomorrow. Not sure if it's an issue at this particular Walgreens or a glitch in their system.

The pharmacy manager at this location is horrible. I had an incident with her several months ago, when I first switched to this pharmacy - I was on the phone with her, she's one of those people who anticipates what you are going to say and then cuts you off, so you never get to complete a sentence. I finally had to raise my voice to ask her to please let me speak. When she continued to cut me off, I asked her name and she hung up on me. I went up to the store to take care of my business and complain about the phone call and when she was the one who appeared at the window as the pharmacy manager, that was when I realized it was the same person I spoke to on the phone. Pretending like I didn't know I had actually spoken with her, I told her about her representative's conduct and she said it was completely out of line and that she'd have a talk with her. When I asked if that employee was there at the moment, she said she was not. So not only giving bad customer service, she lied to me and can't even admit it was her and back up her behavior - obviously, she knew she was acting inappropriately.
Within the last week I had another run-in with her again. She still hasn't learned to let customers say their peace before cutting them off. And she was very unhelpful. I had to call Walgreen's Consumer Relations to resolve my issue when it should have been simple enough for her to handle it. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you expect good customer service and you go to this pharmacy, make sure she doesn't help you.
Oh, and one more thing... this pharmacy seems to automatically charge prescriptions to a prescription savings card instead of my insurance. They did it a few months ago and I caught it and I had to have them reverse my purchase and run it through my insurance. I asked them to always run my prescriptions through my insurance (and not a prescription savings card) but they did it again last week. Unfortunately, I had already paid for it and gone home when I realized. When I asked them to reverse the order and run it through my insurance, they said I needed a receipt. When I told them that the cashier didn't give me a receipt (but they agreed with me that they saw that I had picked up and paid for the prescription the day before), the pharmacy manager said that there is nothing she could do. (This is when I called Walgreen's Consumer Relations and they helped me reverse the charge.) And when they ran it through my insurance, I had $0 copay. I found out this also happened last month with the same prescription. I haven't called Customer Service/Consumer Relations yet about that one, but this is just something else I have on my plate by using this pharmacy. Again, never again.

They NEVER answer their phones! I have waited on hold for 45 minutes only to have the call disconnect or someone hangs up on me!

I am so unimpressed with the pharmacy and pharmacist at this location. I have only been here once but have no plans to return after my experience. Around 5pm last night I found a a flu shot/covid booster appointment for 7:30 which I booked and when I arrived a few minutes before 7:30 I checked in with the QR code posted next to the prescription pick up line and then sat down to wait as the check in screen told me they’d call me when they were ready. After 20 minutes I got a text from the pharmacy saying my appointment had been canceled so I got in line to ask about it. It took about 10 minutes for the line to move along with just one person in front of me and when I got to the front of the line I explained the situation and was told by the pharmacist that I had my appointment canceled because I was 30 minutes late and she had already put all the vaccines away. I told her that I had been checked in and waiting for 30 minutes to which she responded she had been calling out for vaccine appointments the entire time and I wasn’t there. However, in the 30 minutes I waited there, I never once saw her stand in the consultation window where she claimed she was calling for vaccine appointments except for the few minutes where she was talking with another customer and she never called my name or made a single announcement about vaccine appointments. The entire time I was waiting she was either behind the desk filling prescriptions or shelving them. While this was happening, another customer who arrived shortly after I did came up to the counter to tell the pharmacist they had to leave because they had to be somewhere and wouldn’t be able to continue waiting for their vaccination appointment. Overall a bad experience and a colossal waste of my time.

This pharmacy seems to deliberately not value their call-in patients. I've been on hold for 30 minutes and hear them answering the phone and putting me back on hold, they do not even have the decency to say anything when they pick up to give an estimated time until service or a call back option. I do not understand how that can be their process. Bad even by traditional Walgreens standards.

Because of my repeated horrible experiences with the pharmaceutical staff at this store, I will not go to any Walgreens ever again. I had to go back three separate times to get a prescription for insulin filled for my cat that was called in by the vet. Dealing with a female pharmacist each time who told me different reasons why she couldn’t fill it. I finally had to wait on hold with my vets office for 20 minutes and hand her my cell phone before I could get it filled. This is truly the most incompetent pharmacy staff. I’ve ever dealt with.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!I regularly call pharmacies to call in prescriptions as I work for a Doctor's office. I have never dealt with this level of laziness and incompetence. They kept me on hold for over 30 MINUTES! Only to tell me they can not take any prescriptions over the phone and that it should be faxed. There is also no other way of obtaining their fax number unless you call! Please avoid this pharmacy if you can help it, they will only waste your time and money!
