I wanted to drop a quick note on how wonderful Walgreens pharmacy staff have been. I have moved all of my Prescriptions from CVS to Walgreens and I am so happy with the Level of service, thank you Estelle for being so courteous and helpful on the phone. It is always very nice to have a friendly voice on the other end.

I switched pharmacies about a year ago because my prescriptions were always on back-order/I could never get them filled at my local cvs. I haven’t had this issue at all since I started coming to this Walgreens!
Today, I stopped by to pick up a prescription and to ask a few questions about a new medication suggested by my doctor. Even though the pharmacy was busy, the pharmacist took time to help me understand how this medication works, explain how it may help with specific symptoms I’ve been facing, and alleviate my concerns about potential Rx interactions and side effects. I’m so appreciative of how considerate and accommodating the pharmacists at the Rockville Walgreens always are!

The store is fine, but the pharmacy here is a nightmare. From the fact that they shut the whole thing down for an hour for lunch (the time most people want to run out an pick up a prescription on a week day) to how incapable they seem when they are open … I have a standing automated prescription I’ve been getting filled here every month for a over a year. And every single month there are issues - from just not remembering to fill it, to not understanding how to bill my (always the same) insurance properly. And then more than once I’ve made a vaccine appointment, shown up, sat and waited for 30+ mins, only to be told “Oh yeah, we’re out of that vaccine. Sorry.” I’ll be moving to a different pharmacy and I recommend you avoid it if at all possible.

I called the pharmacy to inquire about a medication. They didn’t have it in stock I asked if the technician could check if it was available in a nearby pharmacy. She responded “ it will take a minute “ I said ok. She then continued saying she had customers so she could not check for me. Customer service was absolutely horrible. Will never fill a prescription at this location ever.

The only time I’ve ever seen more incompetent staff is at the Walgreens on Seven Locks Road, but this one runs a very close second.

I stopped by Walgreens randomly today to grab some cold medicine. There was an old lady with a cart making her way up to the pharmacy window. When this Asian lady came out of nowhere and cut her off with the rudest look on her face. I was very proud that the pharmacist saw what happened and helped the old lady first. It’s just so disgusting how some people treat old people these days. Like have some respect. I will be transferring my prescriptions to this store. They care about fair treatment and equality. What is appalling is how this Asian woman tried to claim discrimination for not being served before the old lady she cut off. Kudos to the pharmacist. Good job young lady.

I tried to use coupons for 3 separate incidents and the coupons didn't work. The staff tried to help me and don't know why they don't work. However the store manager asked the staff why wasting time helping me and his attitude is super rude and full of discrimination (I am asian senior). Absolutely not going back.

After waiting over 40 minutes in line to check into my apt for a vaccine was not allowed to add a additional vaccine on. Line was super inefficient with only one person out of three who knew how to use the register. You have to stand in the same line to do everything at the pharmacy they didn't separate checking in. The person administering the vaccine was literally just waiting for people to get through the line so she would have someone to give the vaccine to. This was the worst Pharmacy I've ever been in. Afterwards they even claimed that they don't fill out covid vaccine cards anymore although at every other Pharmacy I've been to for the rest of my family they have.

The way of the lady from Walgreen pharmacy whom spoke on the phone indicated she was extremely impatient. And when she finished speaking then she couldn't wait to hang up the phone.
