DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!I used this company to move across the country cause they seemed like a great company. I WAS WRONG!!The pack up was smooth and while it was in transit everything seemed great. That was until the delivery happened. They showed up hours at 10pm and started demanding more money from us. I was young and d*** payed the extra money but once they refused to give me a recipient I knew things just went wrong. The movers said that the pick up paperwork was the same as the drop off which didn't make sense. I then tried reaching out to the office but after only answering one phone call they started avoiding my phone calls and emails. Also my items were switched between multiple trucks where the movers stole some of my belongings, I know this because one of my cases arrived empty! Not only did they steal from us they also gave us two boxes that didn't belong to us and lost one of ours.DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

This is an awful, dishonest company and please avoid them at all cost (TL;DR: It's a scam.) #1 Mike will tell you the company is not a broker; however, they are and enlist the help of "companies" that virtually do not exist on paper. And the thing is, Mike will not tell you which companies you're dealing with beforehand so, you can't even do a little homework to figure out if this is a reputable company. #2 When the manager (Nathan) of this small company came with his team to pick up my stuff, I fell victim to the old bait-and-switch. Everything was loaded onto the truck THEN they wanted up charge me from the quoted price. #3 They require you pay in cash which is sketchy at best. No company should ask for you to pay in cash; it's a ploy to ensure you can't dispute charges with your credit card company after they've screwed you over. #4 If you're a woman, it's best you have a friend or someone with you because this aforementioned "manager" will sexually harass you. I was blatantly wearing my engagement ring and still Nathan felt it was necessary to pressure me for a date, not to mention forcibly hug and feel on my body. Frankly, I was afraid/disgusted. #5 When my things finally made it to my destination, of course, they demanded I pay cash BEFORE they unloaded my things. And when they're done, they leave super fast so you have no time to realize they damaged half of your belongings. When I contacted them, they told me to file a claim with this third-party site ( movingclaims.net ) and I never heard back from them. I continuously followed up with this company for months only to finally receive an email notifying me they no longer do business with Vista Van Lines (the nonexistent company Mike assigned to unload my things). THEN to add insult to injury, they delivered SOMEONE ELSE'S STUFF to my house. Once again, I reached out to Mike and needless to say, I'm still in possession of this random person's belongings (one year later) and I'm going to have to pay to dispose of these large items. Granted, I made a rookie mistake and didn't do my homework but, hopefully this post can help others avoid this terrible "moving company."

My wife and I used them to move from VA to CA and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. Everything started off fine in the scheduling of pickup and when they picked up everything it was a nice process. They have us the paperwork of the quote saying it was the pickup receipt. This is where everything went bad real quick. The delivery time was scheduled around 4-6pm at our apartment but they didn't arrive until 10pm that night. The moving guys stated that I only pre-paid for two flights of stairs and that they needed cash up front to move our stuff because I somehow missed THREE flights of stairs according to them. These scam artists had their own definition of what a flight of stairs were. Here is where it gets even shadier, they refused to give me a receipt for the cash payment and stated that the paperwork the first movers gave to us in VA was also the drop off paperwork... which does not make any sense and they continued to refuse me documentation. They finally move everything in and the next day we come to realize that they gave us someone else's box of things and lost one of ours. They also went through our stuff as nearly a $1000 dollars worth of airsoft gear was stolen. Turns out that they have no official tracker of which movers handled our stuff as it was all loved between three different trucks with different moving guys. I called to make a formal complaint and the receptionist said that she will send a truck out to pick up the stranger's box but that truck never came. The company then began to ignore my calls and refused to email me copies of the paperwork. I was working with a lawyer who said we needed this paperwork to make a claim and this moving company knows that as they are beyond shady. Plus you can not even file a complaint with the third party website as you need all the paperwork to make a claim.

My wife and I used them to move from Virginia to California and it was one of the worst experiences of our lives. Everything started off fine in the scheduling of pickup and when they picked up our belongings, it was a nice process overall. They gave us the paperwork of the quote saying it was the pickup receipt to show what they should have in their possession. Then this is where everything went south quickly. The delivery time was scheduled around 4-6pm at our apartment in California but they didn't arrive until 10pm that night with little communication coming from the movers as the main office was closed on the East Coast. The moving guys, once they arrived, stated that I only pre-paid for two flights of stairs and that they needed cash up front to move our stuff because I somehow missed THREE flights of stairs according to them, they had their own definition of what a flight of stairs were. They then refused to give me a receipt for the cash payment and stated that the paperwork the first movers gave to us in VA was also the drop off paperwork. This meant that we had no form showing that we paid extra or to show what they actually gave us. They finally moved everything in and the next day we came to realize that they gave us someone else's box of things and lost one of ours. They also went through our stuff as nearly a $1000 dollars worth of airsoft gear was stolen. Turns out that they have no official tracker of which movers or trucks handled our stuff as it was all moved between three different trucks with different moving guys each time.

I used this moving company when I moved from Newark, DE to Wichita KS. They damaged 90% of my belongings and they are now not answering calls to settle my claim. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and general respect for their customers.

I would not use this company again if it was free... This company was assigned to us from a moving company broker called Dependable Moving to assist with a move from the East Coast to the West Coast. This is when the problems started, of which I will summarize here: PICKUP -- The manager was on site and was hitting on my wife the entire time. He hugged her multiple times, touched her butt, and offered her a discount if "she went to dinner with him." -- The quoted price of the move was as fictional as the managers professionalism. With a decidedly less than thorough explanation, several mysterious fees were added to our price, some of which while in the middle of the boxes being moved. The total cost ended up being $400 more than the quoted price. Of course they showed up after business hours and it was impossible to dispute the new pricing with the office. DELIVERY -- Our television screen was destroyed. As in it looked like a baseball smashed into the screen, which is quite shocking since the Television was packed in the original store packaging box with protective styrofoam and everything along with a label that said "fragile." This is a TV that had been moved across the country several times for undergrad, medical school, and residency without incident. -- Our glass end table came with several chips in the corner. -- Mysteriously, they delivered two bags full of clothing and other items that did not belong to us. We alerted them of this three times now, it's been 3 weeks and they have still not come to retrieve the items. -- One of the delivery men used our bathroom and left fecal matter on the toilet seat. Yes the toilet seat, something that I am not sure I could do even if I tried.... Read More

They moved us from Indianapolis, In to Minnesota without a glitch. The movers were very careful and courteous, I will definitely use them again, I highly recommend them. Price was right and fair and the service outstanding. No surprises.

I had a move for a new job in a new state that needed to be completed within 2-3 weeks. I ended up calling a brokerage company (Charter Van Lines). I didn't really set out to call a broker but that's what ended up happening. The broker let me know the dispatcher would contact me and the foreman for the move would contact me with the time they would arrive at least 24hrs prior to arrival. The foreman called and let me know they would arrive for pickup. There was a total of three men. When they arrived my quoted price was changed. This is due to the brokerage company not sending someone to do an estimate as requested. The foreman did a visual estimate and gave me a new quote. By the end of the pickup he said there was even more than he thought but the revised quote would be honored. The only odd thing at pickup that I noticed was that none of the boxes were labeled by rooms. At first I thought they were waiting to write once they completed a room but then they started loading on truck. They did put the stickers on each box with the numbers though. Myself and the foreman decided on a delivery date. The day before they were suppose to deliver I got a call saying they would deliver on the date following the agreed upon date. I asked why the change and all he said was that he didn't know why the foreman agreed to the original date. This was a big inconvenience for me. The date agreed upon was the date everyone was off work to help me get settled. Because of their poor planning I had to request they deliver on another date to make sure everyone that was supposed to be present was available. On delivery there were three men again but one wasn't present at pickup. They arrived about 20-30 earlier than they were suppose to which was another inconvenience since I was doing some cleaning and moving things out of the way. The new place has two bathrooms. The one upstairs had been closed with all my stuff that I had carried in my car. For whatever reason one of them decided to use that bathroom instead of the empty one. Additionally they asked for water. Had I had any I would have gave them some but I was moving in so I had no cups. I'd think as movers doing had labor like that they would think to bring their own water. Anyway, I'm past moves as boxes and items came in the movers would call off the numbers and I'd check them off to make sure everything was accounted for. That didn't happen. And since they didn't label what rooms the boxes were in originally, we had to open each one to know where it should be. A bit inefficient for professional movers. As things came in I did a visual check for damage. I noticed one of the handles for my nightstand was missing. I saw that some of the hardware from the front was placed in the drawer. Which let me know whoever brought it in picked it up as placed inside since all handles were attached at pickup. I brought it to the foreman's attention and he tried to imply that it was missing at pickup. That would be a negative. So he mentioned that typically they charge an additional fee since my door is unusually far from curb than normal, but in this case they wouldn't charge me. To me, if you aren't going to charge me then no need to bring it up. He said he would check for my handle on the truck, but never came back. I had to request the glasstops for my tables be unpacked by them. This was for my own protection to make sure they weren't broken and they wouldn't say that I was responsible later. My dad ended up seeing it on the sidewalk. Overall I have dealt with better movers that were more professional and efficient. I noticed a few scratches and scuffs on items but no real damage has been seen so far. If you have a short local move with few items then I'd think they would be ok to use. I'm not sure I'd use them again for something more than that.
