Meh. I went to this Verizon store because I was on my way home from work and it was closer than a regular Verizon store. The gentleman who helped me seemed helpful, and I did go through some difficulties because it took awhile to disconnect from my previous service and then I forgot my credit was frozen, and he navigated me through that. So maybe for that I'll give them a 3. However, even though he told me about a $200 combination of a discount and prepaid visa card, he didn't know how to guide me through the application process. I returned to the store twice and was told by another employee that they'd contact him and I would receive an email, which never happened. Then they said he'd been at work on a certain day, and he wasn't. Also, the two discounts that I specifically wanted and was told I qualified for were not applied, and I wasn't given any information about how to get them onto my account. Not impressed.

Absolute worst representation of Verizon I have ever seen. Before I even got inside, a man outside the store told me how terrible this location is and he was right.

Staffing shortages, long wait times. They don’t follow their posted open hours, especially in the morning. I’ve had much better experiences at official Verizon stores. Not worth coming back here again.

Sad to see what little effort was made to help me with returning a device after canceling home internet and Cable service for my mother. The people there didn't even look up from what they were doing to greet us. When I told the guy why I was there he didn't even acknowledge my statement. Typed some stuff for a while then asked me a question. And after a few more minutes he said that the cancellation wasn't made and that he couldn't help me. I explained that we did do it and to let me call to find out and he said, well we close in fifteen minutes so I can't help you. After this experience not only am I happy that my mom canceled her service, but I will do so too.

Carol was very rude to me when I arrived at the store. I needed assistance to activate my phone which I purchased from the Verizon store on Rockville Pike. After I explained that I needed to activate my phone because I was not able to do it myself and could not make phone calls/text messages , Carol asked me multiple times "did you paid for the phone" which was very offensive. I purchased the phone the day before from Verizon at the Rockville Pike location. He also carelessly said “well I am the only one here so you have to wait” as I was not important and he never assisted me at all after his statement. Carol was very unprofessional and did not provided great customer service. I would never return to this Verizon location again.

There is a black guy who works there, and he is super unprofessional, rude, and unknowingly. If you go into that store, try to avoid him, at least. He is extremely unhelpful and uncooperative worker.

Waited 2h to get new SIM card. Was given a used SIM card linked to someone else's phone. Took employee 2 phone calls, 3-4 scans of a pile of SIM cards to check me out. They had to cancel my online order as messed up the check out process, and in the end still messed up. As soon as I put in my phone at home, says I'm being billed $810. Didn't work w my phone. Clueless!

Great Customer Service

The worst thing was they told me that they were giving a new case and screen protector and they were charging it on the receipt. Be careful, they charge you for everything. It is better to do it at a Verizon location itself.

We liked the folks in the store. They were extremely helpful. The only thing we did not like is the company that owns this store, Russell Cellular, charges a $35 set up fee per line and Verizon charges an additional $35 activation fee per line. The total of $70 setup and activation per line is steep especially with four lines.UPDATE: A customer representative from Russell Cellular headquarters contacted us and we made a reasonable compromise.

Verizon, if you are in a business, be in it--that means if you have retail stores, staff then with courteous, trained, and knowledgeable people. Yesterday, at 4 pm, this store was closed with a "back in 30 minutes sign". Today, this dull and dingy establishment t was "staffed" by two incredibly rude and unhelpful representatives. No wonder the apple store is always busy. This store was positively unpleasant.
