Absolutely awful customer service. Under no circumstances will I do business with this bank after the way they treated my elderly father. I will be filing a complaint against them with both the Maryland Banking Department and the Office of Aging. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with this bank.
Follow up: To be clear, the foregoing review is based entirely on United Bank's phone-based customer "service." When my father and I later visited the Rockville Pike branch in person, we were treated very nicely by the Assistant Manager, Lourdes Moutran. She was helpful and charming, and we have no complaint at all about the service we received from her. Only the phone service was abysmal. But that is still sufficient reason for my father and me to be certain that we will never do business with this bank again.

United Bank Rockville has literally the best banking customer service in Montgomery County, Maryland. The bank manager is always available for any banking concerns. There are several notaries on hand who have helped us last minute. Thank you United Bank Rockville for always being there for us.

Been banking with this Bank for over 20 years. It's a small bank and they closed two locations (Germantown and Shady Grove) near me which makes it a bit harder to do transactions.However, despite this inconvenience I bank here because I love the staff. Ousman and Dawit are the best. Very friendly and attentive. I feel like I am seeing family when I am greeted by these two. I enjoy talking to them and they are so awesome and helpful. I can honestly say that the bankers I have dealt with over the years have always been great. They hire great people!

I just went into United Bank on Rockille Pike. I was next door running an errand and needed to break some 20's for my elderly mother who doesn't drive anymore and is unable to take care of a lot of the things she used to. I went into this bank and and inquired if they could please break ten 20's into smaller bills for my mom. The courteous young lady explained they don't do this for non-bank customers but would check with her manager. The manager agreed to break only one 20 dollar bill for me. And they think THIS is how to attract new customers??? Well certainly not me. I wonder if this manager has ever been a caregiver for anyone? Probably not. It's really hard and your time is limited. Maybe one day this manager will understand.

Amazing service! Right when you walk in you are greeted by the sweetest tellers ever. Ousman and Dawit are always willing to help you. Community banking is the way I go now!
