I cannot begin to explain the impact Unique by Ruth has left on me and my family. After a sudden car accident took my dad away I saw his old desk and wanted to use for my own for my office redesign as I’m going for my doctorate this Fall. She has transformed this old desk into a work of art that is a gift beyond measure and something I hope to leave my kids. Meeting with Ruth was a pleasure as she explained to me the entire process of refinishing my piece of furniture. She did a perfect color match to the sample I brought and produced the most beautiful transformation to an old piece of brown furniture to an incredible updated look using a high gloss sheen. I stumbled upon Unique by Ruth searching the internet for a place willing to refinish an older Nichols and Stone cranberry red dining room hutch for a reasonable price. I am so lucky to have found Ruth and her skilled team. The piece was redone to perfectly match my new custom kitchen. The paint was applied so meticulously that no one can tell it was previously deep red. Now it is identical to Farrow and Ball Green Blue 84 in color and sheen - identical to the custom island in the new kitchen. Throughout the process, she worked with me to time the work; moving the piece out to coincide with renovation beginning and returning it after renovation was complete. Even the team she recommended to handle the pickup and delivery were outstanding. I am looking in my home for more pieces to entrust to her and the Unique by Ruth team!
