I recently took my Tesla Model Y to Total Recon, a Tesla-authorized body shop, for repairs on the front bumper and a paintless dent repair. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
The quality of the repair work was outstanding—my car looks as good as new! But what truly sets Total Recon apart is their customer service. They went above and beyond by not only cleaning the exterior of my car but also giving the interior a thorough cleaning. They even polished the car and added a tire shine, which made my Model Y look immaculate.

I have gone to Total Recon 3 times in the past year... unfortunately due to bad luck and needing body work.
the team is phenomenal and will always respond if its within business hours.
Having a Tesla this shop has made repairs and even rental process easy and seamless, and the detailing is always crystal clear.
I will continue to use this as my go to collision center for service, and satisfaction along with my future vehicle detailing.

Great experience with Darwin and Alfonso at total recon. Had significant damage to the rare of my 2022 long range Y. Remote estimate was fair and competitive. scheduling of repairs was a breeze. All parts were in stock and job was done in 1 week. Car was perfectly detailed. I could not be happier. The competitors have nothing on total recon.

Total Recon Auto Center is AWESOME! I was able to get my car to Total Recon right away (compared to the 2 month wait with Tesla in Odenton, MD). There were some issues getting my car out of the MCPD tow lot (unrelated to Total Recon) but Total Recon provided assistance and sent over a tow truck to take my car to their shop. I was provided a courtesy vehicle while my car was being repaired and updates to keep me informed of the repair process. I want to thank Fidel and Darwin for their wonderful support!

Avoid this body shop at all costs. They don’t know how to repair cars. The GENERAL MANAGER named Will does not know how to act professionally. He constantly makes up lies, laughs at the client on the phone call and then hangs up the phone. Attached is a picture of my hood after repair that they are not taking responsibility for. This place is a JOKE! Avoid Will at all Costs. He says one thing and then changes his mind and says another. They suck, save yourself the hassle!

I had a fantastic experience with Total Recon! Getting my Tesla back in working order in just a month was amazing – they really impressed me with their speed. The whole team was super friendly and easy to work with, making the process stress-free. Kevin was particularly helpful, always quick to respond to emails and phone calls with updates. They even offered a Tesla loaner while my car was being fixed! I highly recommend Total Recon.

*2014 Tesla Model S (Metallic Brown) *
Had an accident in Annapolis on 4/29, got rear-ended on the way to work.
Wasn't too sure where to take my car, scared of it being a total loss since these older Tesla's don't necessarily have the highest bluebook value.....Discovered Total Recon, ended up working closely with Darwin Medina.
Darwin was super helpful throughout the entire process, also big thanks to Johnathan and Kevin as well as the admin support ladies! Everything was great and I wish I could give 10 stars but I'm limited to 5.
Also big thanks to everyone else on the Total Recon team for making everything come together. I'm sure there are lots of techs and such that I'm just not aware of.

My Tesla Model Y had work done on it almost a year prior....apparently the paint did not hold up and began to bubble and chip. I immediately contacted Total Recon. From the moment I spoke with the customer service rep, I could sense they were willing to do anything to make sure I was taken care of. I took pictures and emailed them to them as requested. They contacted me the following day to schedule an appointment to get the work redone. Darwin Medina was the associate that assisted me. Very professional and eager to assist in anyway. Did not leave me in the dark on anything. Kept me informed and was well detailed with his explanation of the process. Well done. Great experience. Would definitely trust them to do work on my Tesla again and would highly recommend them to anyone! GREAT JOB Total Recon...awesome that you stand behind your work!

I brought my MX to Total Recon after it was hit in a parking garage and after the entire ordeal I’m glad I did. The staff at Total Recon were great, providing weekly updates, addressing all my concerns, and they offer Tesla loaners where the insurance company I was dealing with wanted me to go through enterprise. Total recon even was able to accommodate me with a larger loaner M3 to a MY. Very happy with the repairs and they handled all correspondence with the other party insurance, making the whole process a breeze. Highly recommend them for any body related work for Tesla’s. They know what they are doing!
