I took my favorite ring there to get the stone reset after it had fallen out. They reset and cleaned it in just a few minutes AND they didn’t charge me. I thought it was a very kind and sweet gesture. I will definitely be taking my business there in the future!

No pressure, family friendly, knowledgeable. Sometimes lovely dogs will come out from the back if you ask them to and they are in. All types of unique pieces. Repeat customer.

The customer service is unlike any I’ve experienced. The owner always takes the time to answer all of my questions and is extremely patient. Whenever it comes to pricing he is alway extremely reasonable. I have found my forever Jeweler.

I wanted to get a special ring for my spouse for Christmas/our Anniversary, but had been unable to find anything I liked and it less than a week before Christmas. I left a brief online message on December 20, and David replied right away, saying they may not have what I was looking for in stock, but they could certainly order or custom make. Within a day, he'd arranged with one of his designers to came up with the PERFECT item, and i was able to pick it up Christmas Eve, all well within my budget.

My experience here exceeded my expectations after a bad experience down the road... I was treated so kindly and waiting a couple minutes was easy with their bulldog hanging out. My mother's bangles I just had inherited were handled with care and mended at no charge in just a couple minutes, though Aras Jewelers quoted me quite a bit and gave me a lactate! Absolutely would use them again. Always.

I am so happy with my reset ring! I had my wedding ring custom made 6 years ago. I was never happy with it. I thought it was the diamond so I bought a beautiful new diamond. It again, was buried in a setting that made it look small and dull. I consulted with 3 jewelers who told me it was impossible to reset it without remaking the entire ring. ( It is platinum and would be expensive and lose the sentimental value). In comes David... He changed the basket with his laser technology and elevated my diamond. It looks amazing! My diamond looks twice as big and sparkles brilliantly for a quarter of the price.

Stopped in to see our friends at the Jewelry Design Co. the other day with a broken chain, and left with a beautiful pair of earrings. If you need a gift and want a unique piece, this is the place…and there is Cleo the bulldog to love on, and who doesn’t love a shopping trip with bonus puppy love?

I have been a client of The Jewelry Design Co. for years. David has done insurance appraisals, jewelry repairs and polishing, and created a couple of pieces of custom fine jewelry for me (earring jackets, necklace). I receive a lot of compliments on his work - it is impeccable. Further, the customer service you receive is personalized - they get to know their customers. I find an hour easily passes and we are still talking :) You will not get better quality (or a cuter dog) anywhere else in Rockville.
