I don't know about "healthy", but this place has some GREAT freezer meat alternatives!! Stuff we have never seen in a grocery store and at decent prices. It seemed like most of it was Taiwanese imports.

Went in and looked around. Not much of a store front but that's because they supply many of the restaurants in the area. Coolers full of vegan protein options. Drummies, vegan shrimp, steamed buns, and more in the big coolers you have to ask about. They are only open to the public Saturday 1-6. Worth a visit to stick up the freezer.

If you are a vegan or vegetarian, you must shop here. The owners Terry and Howard are such great people. They helped to choose items and told me how different customers use different items. I got a big bag of vegan Chick'n drumsticks and other items. I have air fried the drumsticks and made a curry. It came as good as the restaurants IMO. They have every kind of vegan meat alternatives and tofu products. Please stop by here and you will.keep.coming back.PS- They run this business to supply to local vegan restaurants and open their business to retail customers only on Saturdays.

A great wholesaler for vegan faux meat and seafood! I do Karate right around the corner at 202 Strong and whenever we have a special even on a Saturday, I drop by here since they are always open Saturday. I have to thank my vegan friend for recommending this place, because it is awesome! It's a simple market - there's nothing fancy to be found: no signs (except the name of the business outside), no aisles. It's just a big room full of freezers. The food is reasonably priced, though it can add up if you get more than a couple packages. Most stuff I've tried has been pretty solid, and usually soy and/or wheat-based, though they have some that are mushroom-based as well. I think the fake beef has been my favorite item, followed by the smoked (fake) duck breast. It's a great way to add some delicious plant-based protein to your meals; some come already marinated! My only complaint is that some of the products are written in Chinese, so you might only get a small idea of what you have or how to cook it. Oh well, it's fun exploring new things, and I think only one was a bust while everything else has been pretty tasty! The man behind the counter was very friendly and rang up our food. Like I said, I'm not usually in Rockville on Saturdays, but when I am, I try to make this one of my stops!

The owner welcomed us in and invited us to ask any questions if we were looking for something specific. Found tons of awesome options for great prices, there’s a vegan alternative for most types of meat there, incredible!

Have been wanting to pop in for a while but you can only go Saturdays 12:30-6. It's certainly no frills but it doesn't matter because there are so many vegan options and at great prices. If you're in search of a vegan meat replacement, it's here!! I found veg: duck, lemon chicken, bacon, salmon, and fish patties, very excited to try everything. Terry mainly sells wholesale, but opens his shop to retail customers on Saturdays. If you want good prices on bulk soya products, this is the place to go. Terry is very friendly and can help you decide amongst all his products.
