Actually a nice little market with a pretty good selection of food that's both hot and freshly packaged to go. Nice for lunch or for lazy meal prep, and definitely worth it.

Do not order any food from this restaurant because they are not honest in their business, I ordered 12 mutton roll and out of 12, 9 was burnt. They knew they were giving burnt Rolls but they packed in such a way I didn’t realize until I came home. I didn’t know there are doing dishonest business

A fairly small grocery and limited supply store, but if you come here, you already know what you're coming here for. I was specifically coming here to get some rolls and fish cutlets. I can't get enough of them and when I get the cravings, I just go all out and buy a bunch. They only have food available to buy from Friday to Sunday. They have a buffet type offering on Saturday lunch too. Not too much seating, but I cannot think of another Sri Lankan place to visit in the immediate area so this place does supply a niche audience. The parking lot is pretty empty most of the day so I doubt you will have problems finding a spot. The people here are nice and friendly and I have not had any issues.

Nice little grocery store with authentic Srilankan stuff. They have prepared Srilankan food as well and have a buffet as well on Saturdays for lunch.

We've been coming to this place for 15+ years - before the management changed. The most recent order was for Lamprais but it was basically regular white rice on a banana leaf - we ordered 1 pork - turned out to be fish, 1 vegetable (egg) but it had a fish cutlet. For the price, it was just disappointing. This isn't the first time - almost every time we order and everyone we know says there was a mistake in their order BUT because there are no other Sri Lankan places around, we go back. The issue is that they cant keep up with the work they're taking on .The standard has gone down since the old management -the couple that used to run this place were phenomenal. Unfortunate that this is happening. They need to hire more people or just cut back on the orders they are taking but at some point these mistakes have to stop.

I have been visiting this store since the late 1990's, and I have always enjoyed the freshly cooked food, Sri Lankan short eats (appetizers) and their well stocked shelves. After new owners took over the store since October 2019, I love this place even more now than ever before! They have given it a fabulous make over! Absolutely delightful!! Great atmosphere, and very clean. The owners and staff are super friendly and very helpful. The buffet on Saturdays is a must for me! The food is authentic, delicious and wonderfully spicy!! I usually call ahead if I need a special dish or to place a catering order, and I have never been disappointed. It is my go to place on weekends!

Incredible Sri Lankan food, catered to perfection. Grocery has all the essentials. Wonderful family run place. My life here would be incomplete without it, keeps me connected to my culture.

Wow, such a cool spot. I've lived in Derwood for 8 years and only just found this place. They have a buffet on Saturdays!! (pay by the pound) The food is so unique but extremely spicy so load up on the rice and take it easy. Very flavorful. They also have a ton of curry pastes to buy so you can try some home cooking too. Highly recommend, especially on Saturdays.

Can't get better Sri Lankan food in the area. As close to Ceylon home cooking as you can get at a store or restaurant.
