I recently had an unpleasant experience at the Planet Aid store in Rockville, MD. After shopping for about 20 minutes, I needed to use the restroom and approached a staff member to inquire about its location. Unfortunately, their response was quite curt and impolite, informing me that the restroom was closed due to the store closing in one hour. This kind of treatment is totally unacceptable and does not reflect a professional attitude.

Very large store with clothing and housewares. The clothing is in decent condition but not the best quality. Brands include Target labels.

I just started going to this store. One of my favorites, huge, friendly staff. CleanI don't see where they auction everything off too the highest bidder. Price normalfor thrift stores these days.

Midsized store with clothing organized by type and then size. Fitting rooms available. Housewares section is on the smaller side, there is a wall of books that didn’t seem that organized. There is a separate doorway between the dresses and housewares section that leads to furniture. Note that some higher end items are behind the checkout counter. As always in thrifting, you never know what you’re going to find, I really enjoyed this set of rooster ceramic and glass decor. Ceramic roosters $8, glass roosters $16, which seems reasonable to me, ymmv.

Great shopping experience and huge place in Rockville. So well organized and a lot to look at. Huge donation bins outside so as not to have to come inside.Household appliances, books, electronics, and clothes. Very busy place and the parking lot is always full. Staff is awesome and polite.

My favorite thrift store! I drive from Germantown to come here even though there are many near me. Very clean and organized. Walter and staff are very kind and helpful. MUST VISIT.

Larger thrift store in the Rockville area, selling clothing items, books, household items, and some electronic appliances and furnitures. I came here and got a really nice pair of formal (and new!) dress shoes at a reasonably lower price. Friendly staff members. Plenty of parking. Highly recommended!

I recently visited Planet Aid and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items and the overall shopping experience.First and foremost, the prices were incredibly reasonable. I was able to find some really great pieces of clothing, accessories, and home decor for a fraction of what I would have paid at a regular retail store.

Great selection for all categories and very well-organized! Clothes sorted by size! Best selection of hats I've ever seen at a thrift store. Highly recommend to fellow fans of second-hand goods!

This place closes at 7pm, and they were kicking people out at 6:45pm this is not a very customer driendly place. I would consider looking into legal action to see where they are violating any laws and if they are announced through the intercom that they are closed at 645pm. They have a sign to the public that says 7pm. The announcement should say we are closing at 7 pm. I would be very careful in terms of harassing customer out of the business and telling them that the business is closed at 645pm when the sign says 7 pm.

This place is ok sometimes you will find nice things but the only problem is items are way over priced compared to other thrift stores idk if there is price gouging but things end up costing more then retail, dvd and Blu-ray’s are way over priced not including other items
