Let me tell you something LESLY IS PHENOMENAL IN GROOMING. I love her she always does an amazing job with no direction from me whatsoever she needs a raise and if she ever leaves I will follow her wherever she goes! She is very friendly, helpful and is literally the only reason I get my dog groomed there!!!

Hello, I come here to share my experience in this store.Last Friday I went to the store at 7pm and the store closed at 8pm I knew exactly what I wanted it was dark in the fish area I asked for help and the salesperson said he couldn't help me because there were only two people closing the store and he didn't even ask what I needed it and turned my back. I went to the fish area to see if they had the fish and he came to me and told me not to stay there as it would stress the fish. such a big store with horrible employees

I love my three 14-gallon tanks! I've seen reviews on the aquariums leaking, but I haven't had any of those issues.

Lack of customer service. I asked the cashier for a help. She just nodded not even helping. We had to come to the cashier again she gave me an attitude. So we got frustrated and waiting. Finally a guy came to my wife and helped her for short. Petco needs to be more training in how to approach and helping a customer.

I took my dog for a trim and grooming the lady that helped me upsold me from 80 to 110 which was absurd but the price isn't what bothered me. I was asked to come pick my dog up because he wouldn't want to leave the crate which is understandable . I come pick him up and she said "let's see if he finally wants to get out" with an attitude which was unnecessary he saw me so obviously ran to me. She than said " oh yea now you can leave to your home" and followed with a "ugh" These comments were childish, irrational and extremely unprofessional. Makes me wonder if she took her frustration out on my dog at the fact that he wasn't being complying. Disgusting attitude from the moment we walked in. Oh and as she was checking out another customer her attitude was totally different maybe it's because I'm Hispanic and the other lady wasn't hmmm. Anywho will not be coming back here disgusting human being to stoop down to a dog by saying rude commentary.

It's very unfortunate to say that todays grooming for my two dogs was not good at all. My youngest dog ,who apperently had some anxiety and kept urinating in the kennel, came back with an injured (back) leg after being informed prior to the appt she was found to have arthritis in both of her back legs. The lady who had assisted me had given me an estimated pick up time of 12:30pm...not even a whole hour later after drop off which was around 10:15am I get a call at 11:09 saying my youngest dog was having anxiety and kept peeing in the kennel and I needed to get there by 11:30 to pick her up. I had gone all the way down to Laurel since we 1. never had this issue before UNTIL today with a different clerk and 2. I would've had until at least 12 to finish my errand in Laurel. I dropped everything I was doing to get down there asap and 27 minutes later I get a call asking for an ETA. I made her aware that I was coming all the way from Laurel and the gps said it would be 19 minutes. With an attitude she says okay and hangs up. Once I get there I'm greeted with nothing but the nastiest of looks and terrible attitudes. Being as I am 7 months pregnant I had absolutely no intention on trying to go back and forth or argue with the lady. Clearly, she doesn't know how to push her feelings aside and even though I know it's probably not ideal to have to want to clean up pee so often...you work with animals, they are expected to pee or poop even. Very disappointed mostly at the fact my dog came back injured. Hope these women do better.

I went here with my puppies because it was raining and they needed to get their walk. The store was fun to walk around and gave them lots to sniff. I found a sweater/jacket on clearance for 4.00. An amazing find. The cashiers were polite and got thru the line quickly. I also go here for their shots. It is pretty busy on those days but you make an appointment online and I have not waited very long. It is fun to look around at the animals.

I came to this location yesterday for dog grooming and my dog's stylist, Lesly C., was amazing; she did a wonderful job grooming my miniature goldendoodle, so if you have the same breed or any dog with a curly coat, I'd highly recommend her. I'm giving a five-star rating for the grooming and customer service, however the store itself is quite dirty. I noticed there's a smell due to dog pee and I'm unsure how often it gets cleaned, other than that I love the numerous amounts of products they have for any kind of pet.

Horrible grooming. I brought my mini golddoodle here because my groomers van was down. This was the worst cut in her 2 years of life. Now I see why vets say never go to these places.Here is a cut from her regular groomer vs what she got at Petco Rockville, absolutely unacceptable. This is pure laziness. It was easier to just shave her. Needless to say I will never go to any Petco again.Pictured below is her groomers work vs Petco. I am happy her hair is finally starting to grow back and she was able to go back to her groomer.

Nobody was available to help me. When checking out, the cashier was too busy having a personal conversation with another employee and didn’t even acknowledge me. They kept talking while she was scanning my items and just ignored me when I said “thank you, have a good day”.

Rockville store is filthy and unsanitary, specifically floors have feces on it all over the store. Groomery staff specifically the lead is not able to work with large dogs. Brianna seem to be scared of big dogs. On multiple occasions while another groomer performs service, Brianna stops service because she feels scared. Store manager refusing to acknowledge groomery issues. groomery lead refused service to my large dogs because she is scared of them. Groomer in the same facility took care of my dogs with no issues for 2 years. Hope this helps all fur parents with xxlarge puppies.

** after the response from the "owner"** I find the auto response to reviews insulting and proves that this store does not care about its customers opinion. Better not to reply at all than to have an auto reply.**************************I received a $25 gift card from Pepco due to an online order that was 100% wrong. I tried to use it and there was no money on it.The store was dirty everything was rusty I don't know if it was due to urine from dogs or leaks that were coming from the ceiling. I did see two buckets full of water that was coming from the ceiling. It's unsanitary not safe for dogs to be allowed to walk around due to all the rust, overpriced and dishonest for giving me a store credit that had no credit on it at all.But I will say the cashier was very nice and apologetic although couldn't do anything to help me regarding the store credit card I received from Petco with a zero balance.So thanks for nothing Petco I definitely will not be back.
