Called to see if they could replace battery in car. Called multiple times before someone picked up. Was told would get a callback once they checked. No call back. Came in the next day to see if they could help. They took the car (this was a Friday morning) and was told by Teddy it will be completed by end of day, and he would contact me once complete or if any issues with the car. Received no call or massage that day about my car. Contacted them the next morning which was a Saturday (took multiple calls for someone to pickup again). Was told Diagnostic was started the day before but not completed. And that they do not diagnose on weekends so would not be looked at again until Tuesday (Monday being a Holiday). I was upset because I was not expecting to have my car there all weekend and was not told that would be a possibility. After expressing my frustration for the lack of communication and work done on my car, Homer was able to get someone to take care of my car that day.

Disappointing service on 8/29/24. Scheduled 12 pm oil change and tire rotation per Ourisman back to school promotion. Arrived 11:40 am and service advisory (Abel) couldn’t find reservation. Showed him Ourisman text confirmations see attached. Took about 15 minutes for him to create new appointment. Asked if I would be waiting. Told him I was advised service would take between 1-2 hours and was prepared for this duration. After 2.5 hours Abel told me it would be about 20 minutes more. At around 3 pm Abel told me he would not charge for the service as the wait time was not acceptable. This was proactive on his part but when the service was finally completed 5 pm I was very displeased. In today’s world this type of customer service, or lack there of is unacceptable. I would not recommend Ourisman for a service of this kind and certainly will not return for the suggested $1700 of preventative maintenance my 2018 CX-9 requires. If it took over 5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation how long would these services take. While I was waiting I observed multiple less than professional employee conversations. Also was blown away as a manger never introduced him/herself to try to resolve the obvious issues I had experienced. Please reach out to me as I would be happy to provide additional thoughts. Absolutely thrilled with my car purchase! From start to finish, everything was seamless and hassle-free. The communication was superb, making the entire process incredibly smooth. Highly recommend!
Update--Be Aware!!!!!!!!!!!
The overall experience was pretty good until you receive the statement from the Bank. The financial guy won't go through every options with you. He introduced auto loan directly even though I brought the check with me. He told me it would be the same amount as paying cash if I pay off the loan right away and talking about all good things about getting the loan. After I got the statement from the bank three weeks later, I found there is a $1,200 balance difference even without the interest. I contacted the financial department immediately and they told me to contact the bank to pay off the loan and the bank will refund me, which turns out not true. I had to contact them again, and this time they changed to they will refund me instead after I pay off the loan. And then I asked what about the interest built up till now, you said the overall amount would be the same. The answer I got from them was there is not much money and it is what it is.
Also, when I purchased the car that day, they listed they owed me couple things and will make appointment to get these done. And now, almost one month, I called in several times, but the appointment has still not been set up yet.
So just be aware when they ask you to go through auto loan, make sure you understand and clear about all the options and details. Good luck if you still want to purchase the car from them!

I just found out that Mazda Rockville gave me a 2018 tire when I replaced my tires with them on June 2022. The tire has so many cracks on the side and I had to replace them again right away! How can they cheat like that? I’m so really disappointed!

I went to this dealership with the intent to buy a used 2024 pathfinder platinum for my fiancé and myself, with our own financing through USAA. Our customer service person was Suki who was amazing and treated myself, mother and sister with great respect. My fiancé is stationed in California at the moment so he could not come. We asked about a military discount, we were informed that it was $500 for new vehicles. Suki asked the question to the financing manager (Nana) if he would give us a $500 discount, we didn’t ask for any additional discounts other than a measly $500 for the service my fiancé provides to this country. Nana wouldn’t do it. In fact, Nana was so rude to me and my family that he said “I don’t know where y’all are from….” in a sarcastic tone. He treated us disrespectfully because we were woman and could be bullied into purchasing the vehicle regardless of how we were treated. When we were outside we could hear Nana say “I don’t want to have to kick someone’s a**” when we came back from the test drive. I am extremely upset with how Nana treated my military family-the disrespect we endured from Nana was ridiculous.

Horrible service department. Shady practices and indifferent staff. Stay away from the service department. They're a much more reputable places in the area that will not tell you one thing and do another or mislead you.

Car was at the dealership for over 2 months and there was very poor communication from our service rep about timelines for resolution. Manager Mike was very helpful when we’d had enough and drove over to pick up the car. Original issue was not resolved and when we got home we realized the car had been hit in the dealership lot - brand new license plate bent and the bumper had additional scratches. Do not recommend bringing your car here!

Called to schedule an appointment for an oil change, and was told I didn't need one because from 7am-noon you could just walk in and they'd do it without one. When I showed up, they said "yea that was probably the call center that told you that, but we don't actually do that and we cant get you in today".....so essentially they were aware of the call center telling people that already, but didn't stop them from continuing to do it. Also, I noticed they're charging a 3% fee on credit cards, which is usually a bad sign anyways. Don't waste your time.

Horrible experience. And my last at Ourisman. Last few times have been awful. I got my car back and left this time. After waiting several hours, when I was told it’d be 1-2 more, I decided enough was enough. I had an appointment scheduled and it was only for their 10K service (oil change and tire rotation).
Don’t bother reaching out. I’m not interested.

If you're looking for a Mazda, or a vehicle in general, make sure to go to Ray Palizkar!! I came to the dealership late Sunday. I ran into Ray and he was telling me about everything, however he did not pressure or bother me into buying a vehicle like regular salesmen do just to make commission. He was very sweet, informative, and helpful. He even gave me one hell of a deal for 2024! Tuesday I picked up my fully loaded, supercharged Mazda3! Rob in finance worked with me as well and I'm forever grateful for them! Make sure you shop with them when dealing with Ourisman Mazda of Rockville!
