The service department is a ripoff. They not only tried to charge me a $225 "diagnostic fee" for plugging in an OBD2 reader and telling me the car needed a new battery, and charged more than double the retail cost of a battery, but they then added insult to injury by adding charges at checkout for document retention ($9!), shop supplies ($16) for changing a battery, and credit card surcharge ($6). I will never be taking my Mazda here for service again.

Bought a car at this location and Joseph helped me and was amazing. Great customer service and very knowledgeable. He made the process smooth and I definitely recommend if you go to this location to ask for Joseph!

Best body shop experience I have ever had! Quick repair. Insurance worked with them as well.

Trust is my first concern about estimates of maintenance needed on my car. This dealer recommended over $1200 of work that was not called for by the schedules in the Mazda owner's manual. When I got home and called my (trusted) local Mazda dealer they confirmed that non of these recommendations were needed on my car at this time. I feel like Ourisman Mazda attempted to rip me off.

I'd give a ZERO rating. I'm never going back to Ourisman Rockville to service my Mazda, which I bought there. Their most egregious error was, during a routine service, to leave the cap off the oil chamber. The oil spewed out during my drive home, the engine seized up, I lost use of my car for several key days, and the service department never owned responsibility or apologized. They also totally messed me around with out-of-state registration and tags which was their responsibility. Nobody cared at all to do a routine job for the customer. It was finally resolved two months later when I called the GM and told him I had cancer (100% true) and Ourisman Mazda's staff negligence and lack of respect for the customer was a horrible, avoidable, extra and unacceptable stress.

The services here sucks. Twice, I have brought the car for service, including tire rotation, and as I was driving home the warning light came up notifying me that pressure was low. The first time, I put additional air on the tire and it worked. The second time, the tire was completely flat the following morning. Called numerous times and no one answered the phone. Finally, I spoke with a manager on sales who set up an appointment for me. As you imagine, sales department is better staffed than the service team

Greg,Rob and Gus were very helpful and understanding when it came to my situation. They are very transparent and willing to answer any questions that you may have. If I was to come back I would only want to deal with the 3 of them. I walked in with a plan in mind and they helped me achieve it. Thank you so much.

I bought a used 2022 Mazda CX-5 from another Ourisman store a few months ago. As part of its "Ourisman Promise" program I was to receive certain benefits, including a complementary first oil change. I called Ourisman Mazda to make an appointment, described my situation, and confirmed that I was eligible for the free oil change. This morning, however, I checked in for the appointment but was told that for the free oil change I would need to return to the original Ourisman location, an hour away, and that they would charge $165.I left. Not only did I feel deceived, but it was a stupid thing to do from their perspective; for the sake of a few bucks they alienated someone who could have been a loyal customer for many years.

My wife and I went to Ourisman Mazda today and spent about a half hour on the lot both indoors and out and not a single person approached us or even acknowledged us. When we went inside, we sat in two different models and several salespeople were milling about, some with other customers, but not one even acknowledged us to say welcome or that someone would be with us shortly. This dealership gives new meaning to a "hands off" approach. Thanks, but we'll take our $45K elsewhere.

One word to describe this dealership, shady. Unlike most other reviewers, I was attempting to sell a vehicle to Ourisman Mazda & VW. I was referred to Ourisman by the KBB instant cash offer system. One of their used car purchasers reached out to me wanting to purchase my vehicle for the KBB cash price of ~$7,500. We spoke over the phone briefly and he assured me that they could beat Carvana's offer on my car of $6,000.Anyways, I went to the dealership on a busy day and waited around for a bit so the sales team could look at my car. (I wasn't in a rush so the wait wasn't that big of a deal, and the lounge is very comfortable.) They come back and offer me $5,500 but then also stipulate that the car MUST be left with them for a week to "inspect" and then I would be sent a check within a week to 2 weeks. During this time I was to also leave the title and all documentation for the vehicle. They gave me some excuse stating that the accounting team wasn't working so I couldn't get a check, but I could just leave the car with them. What other dealership does this? Every other sale I've done for cars they write a check the same day. Again, this is shady...But what really makes this place shady is the sales team. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be appraised I overheard numerous conversations with buyers in the office. One stood out to me however, the salesman was encouraging a buyer to sign a financing document and saying: "please do not worry about the interest rate, that doesn't matter, just sign this." The buyer was smart enough to know better thankfully and she continued to ask questions about the financing, which she clearly needed additional assistance with. I wouldn't do any business here, just look at all the reviews, they're accurate.

Some liquid leaked from a pipe above my car in a garage and left some ugly spots that my usual car wash guys were unable to remove. They said the liquid probably corroded the painting and a repaint would be necessary. I brought the car to Ourisman’s Collision Center. Vanessa took care of the issue and fixed it in 15 minutes. Great can do attitude. No repaint needed. A million thanks !

WARNING – Never ever use Ourisman Collision!! After being hit on I270, I brought my VW to Ourisman for an estimate to be written and photos taken for the insurance company. It was okayed by the insurance company but Ourisman said they couldn’t start on repairs for 3 weeks. During that time though, the parts were supposedly ordered so they’d be on hand when I brought the car in. I waited the 3 weeks, brought my car in and was told to allow 2 weeks for completion. As of this date, this Wednesday, it will be 8 (EIGHT) weeks and I still have no idea when I might see my car again. No explanations, no apologies, no return calls,…NOTHING.Services: Painting

Terrible customer service and absolutely sloppy job done. I had to bring it back again for additional repairs and they didn’t even put the trims back on. It was literally sitting on my passenger chair.
