Motis has a limited selection of the items when you absolutely need to have something Kosher. They have a great bakery, deli and meat selection as well. The best part of shopping at Motis is finding the neat seasonal gift items. They also have a nice wine selection. There is no worry everything inside is Kosher. The store could be a little cleaner, that is the only downside.

I never head if celery soda before stopping by Moti's Market. The market itself is fine. Very kosher and authentically so. They also had beer, wine, sushi, and a wall of Jelly Nelly Gormet Jelly Beans.Back to the celery soda: its not very good. It tastes like celery.... it isn't bad, but also not very good.

German cockroach nymph right at the already-filthy-looking cash register area. Can’t imagine how long this problem has been going on, considering the circumstances of offspring from prior generations running around. Also, what’s up with this mochi?!

If you go when they have sales you can get a very good deal on certain meat cuts. The staff is friendly and helpful. We also like the pita in the bakery and they gave my daughter a free cookie.

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY FROZEN FOODS HERE. I like this place but I've we're up to like eight different frozen items I got over time that were clearly got thawed and refrozen.---Not sure this is my first destination in an area in terms of a grocery store, but if you're close by, it's great. Note that they're closed Saturdays.PROS* Good selection, reasonable prices, and some specialty items* So far fruits and veggies have been freshCONS* Some of the frozen options have clearly had a step in their process where they melted and refroze. Some of the refrigerators make a very loud noise, which makes me wonder if they're the problem.* Some parts of the store look rundown or like they need some help. I have not tried anything from the deli counter.

Overall this store is terrific and has an array of products that are hard to find anywhere else. Meats and deli are noteworthy. Great selection of spices.I often think how a business handles something that doesn't go perfectly is the best measure of their character through customer service. I recently had a rare and minor quality hiccup with a purchase and had to make a return here. The manager, J- was awesome about it. Friendly, courteous and made it straightforward and quick. Offered a brief simple apology. Pitch perfect customer service and very appreciated.

Honestly, if one compared Moti's to a non-kosher market, it would be about a 3.5 stars. But...and it's an important *but*, that's an apples/oranges type of deal. Most kosher markets stock selective products aimed towards kashrut observant consumers. So you're going to find a limited selection of "name brands" and they'll also be more expensive. Here's the flip side: You'll also be in for a great taste experience of new and different foods from their deli department. The meat department has an excellent variety of meat and poultry. In the dairy aisle, again...great choices. And, an epic seasoning and spice selection. This isn't a Giant or Safeway but...that's a good thing!

Stumbled upon this market accidentally while making donations next-door at Goodwill. I wish I wasn’t on my lunch break or I would be spending a lot more time at the market! I will definitely be back to pick up some amazing meats and make use of their wine selection, which seems to be really different from what I usually find at my regular market. Their bakery items look amazing and of course I had to try the Babka. Their ready food counter had some irresistible looking stuffed cabbage rolls, so that will be lunch today!

I always end up with several bags of purchases when my plan is to get one or two items! I particularly love the meat selection/variety and cuts I only find here such as veal and beef scallopini prepped the way I want and that are always great. Also, there is a great selection of prepared foods ready to heat or cook and serve, marinated or flavored or vacuum packed -- however you want or need it. I do miss the cookie and pastry items that store used to have years ago baked in house regularly with great variety. Now most things are packaged and commercial, even though there is a great and varying selection.Among my very most favorite items are the "small and simple meals" which serve 5 generously and are reasonably priced. Also, a few Shabbat dinners we tried were outstanding. We are fortunate to have choices of kosher stores or sections in chain stores in which to shop, and I try to check out any and all options. I do shop the competition by value and quality for anything fresh and I am rarely disappointed in the larger markets, but have to admit Koshermart/Moti's Market is great.
