Great shop with a huge selection, good prices, and a friendly owner. It's hidden behind Wang Manor, formerly Big Wangs, and next to the trash station on 355, Rockville Pike. Also, pretty much every beer store in the area closes 10pm or earlier, but this place stays open until 10:30. It is clean and has plenty of parking.

I was on the hunt for something new, browsing the selection for about ten minutes and looking up beer on Beer Advocate. The owner/manager especially told me to buy something or leave. Patronize another business.

My new favorite beer store. A very art proprietor who sees a large amount of his product possibly go unsold, how many Smoked Maple Porters y White Russian Blonde Stouts can a cat consume? This dude has created a make your own six pack with bottles y cans, just like TJs! $10.99 for bottles, $11.99 cans. By far the best single selection of cans y bottles of beer I've seen since moving east.

Owner is rude and unpleasant. I purchased my beer with cash and asked if I could buy a CROISSANT WITH MY EBT which is for food only. I think the owner might have Alzheimer’s since he obviously doesn’t remember this happening and just got mad at me and said no we don’t don’t accept EBT. Still paid in cash bc why argue with someone that is delusional. Terrible customer. Avoid in general.

Sketchy place, not safe. Specially at night. Look beer 5 min up the road. I do not recommend.

Stay far away from Midway Beer and Wine. The owner, Ashok, appears nice at first, but has a rabid temper if you encounter an issue with a product you bought. My family and I supported his small business throughout the pandemic, but we have not been back to this store since a disturbing incident. Ashok has lost hundreds of dollars of our business as a result of his behavior.

The owners are really nice and they sell a great assortment of local and imported alcohol. They also get new stuff all the time so they have variety on their side as well. Additionally, they're open pretty late and also carry snacks. What more could you ask for? It's our go to place for sure.

Awesome place and service. Was in town from Ohio on business and we stopped here, glad we did. Amazing selection, and tons of local brews, to which the super nice guy behind the register helped me select a couple or seven six packs! Also, it's right next to Wang Manor if you need, well..... "other" items?

The manager is very knowledgeable about beer and those interested in beer. He is eager to help you. The store has a very wide selection of beers presented in an orderly display with price tags. First rate.

I’ve been a customer of Midway Beer and Wine for about 5 years now. The owner/manager has always been super helpful and pleasant. Today, however, he unleashed his rage on me like I’ve never seen before from someone running a retail business. I bought my usual 30 pack of PBR, carried it 20 steps to our van, and as I was putting it on the carpeted floor I noticed what appeared to be a few drops of beer leaking from the bottom of the carton. I turned around and brought it back to the owner (literally 30 seconds from having just purchased it), and he accused me of dropping or hitting the 30 pack on something. I explained that I simply walked the 20 steps to our van and gently placed it on the clean, carpeted floor. He reluctantly gave me a new 30 pack, but started yelling at me and repeatedly called me a liar. This accusation was ridiculous, but after seeing how upset he was I even offered to take the original 30 pack, less the one beer which was leaking. He declined my offer, and just went on about how I was “being a child” and lying. I reminded him that I’d been a steady customer for about 5 years, but he didn’t care and just went on calling me a liar. I rarely write reviews, but I just wanted to caution people about what a “Jeckle and Hyde” this man is — he can be super nice, but also very vicious. I’ve probably spent a few thousand dollars at this man’s store over the past five years, and it’s appalling that he could treat me like this. I hope he reflects on his actions today and takes a different approach with other customers.
