The staff at Kenhaven are absolute angels – from the front desk, the vet nurses, and the doctor. I love LOVE that they are thoughtful enough to have two entrances, one for dogs and one for cats. This might seem small for some pet owners but not for us. We adopted our ginger from the shelter when he was 9 and is terrified of any other humans and animals especially dogs (we adopted him and agreed not to get any other pets due to how scared he is). He is now 17 years old and has never been to another vet!!!!!!
Being allowed to bring him into the cat side without the worry of running into a dog on the way in or in the waiting area makes Tristan’s experience literally stress free.
Along with the two entrances they are extremely flexible with scheduling – I work full time and cannot wait around, so they let me drop him off in the morning and pick him up after work. They always call me early afternoon with updated/how he is doing and ask how I would like to move forward. They allow time to weigh out your options and do not pressure you. Id take the reviews saying pet parents are being pressured with a grain of salt.
The only thing is I wish we had some kind of pet insurance on Tristan because the bills are kind of high but its so worth it for how Tristan is treated when he goes in. I know he’s "just a cat" but he's our family and he’s treated with kindness and a lot of love when hes there. If you sign up online you get some amazing coupons to stock up on pet food and they are always emailing deals and discounts.
When we go and pick Tristan up they always tell us how much of a lovebug he is and that they love hugging on him while he waits for mom to pick him up. For Tristan to be so comfortable around them speaks volumes to how he’s treated when I am not around. I trust Tristan in their care and will never move vets. Kenhaven is family. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our old man <3

Every time I have visited Kenhaven I've always been met with really nice staff and Drs who made me feel like my precious babies were being taken care of. Even when I had to put down my cat a couple years ago I was met with such care and sympathy. I will continue to go here for all my pets treatment and yearly check ups.

Booked a quick procedure(~$40) over the phone. When I got to the waiting room, they told me they would only do an unnecessary ~$200 procedure that had already been done. They could have easily told me about this over the phone, but didn't.
Huge waste of my important time. Horrible communication. Basically tried to pull a bait & switch Con-job on me.
EDIT: @Kenhaven Hospital (Owner): I left because you DIDN'T address my concerns, prior to my visit over the phone, or during my visit while I was in the waiting room. Not BEFORE. I was in the building at the scheduled time. You had two opportunities to make things right and you didn't. Don't blame me for your failure of service.

We have been taking all our pets (1 cat and 4 previous dogs) to Kenhaven for the past 23 years. The entire staff provides competent, compassionate care and will not try to upsell you on procedures or treatments.

The staff are super friendly, especially Susan, she was awesome! Very accommodating and did an amazing job with grooming/shaving down my matted senior dog. I would definitely come back!

If I could give a 0 I would. My first experience at this establishment irritated me. My dog is very sweet and easily spooked/reactive. I am working on getting her confidence up. The vet tech entered did not say a word to me and grabbed my dog by her collar and started dragging her towards the scale. Afterwards the Vet came in and did some testing that I did not even have any knowledge or had given consent for previously. After the interaction the administrator for the hospital called me and apologized for the staffs actions. She assured me she would speak to the individual involved and ask for clearer communication going forward.
This time around the same vet tech did the exact same thing with dragging my dog by the leash and collar. I left immediately. Pets are family and I do not think anyone at Kenhaven would appreciate me doing that to their pet.
