I had a wonderful experience with the owner Leslie, and found her selection of Judaica to be excellent and quite gorgeous. As someone not halachically Jewish (I’m Patrilineal and wasn’t raised as a Jew), she was very reaffirming about my choice to purchase a Magen David. Stuff like that probably shouldn’t filter through in a review, but she made me feel welcome in my Judaism and her thoughtful and kind personality shone through.If you’re Jewish and want to support a locally owned business with fair prices, that deals in Judaica and not Messianic b.s., then this is your store.Chag Shavuot Sameach, and thank you again Leslie for your decency.

Love this store for a fantastic selection of Judaica. Every holiday is represented, all religious and Jewish or Israeili items are there or can often be ordered. The items range from very affordable to very rich. Can find some of the most famous artists' works. Contemporary and classical things abound. The owner is very willing and able to help choose a perfect selection, no matter the need.

I have bought many Jewish items at this store going back quite a few years. There is a very good selection to chose from. Unlike numerous reviewers who said they found the owner very rude I have never seen that. She was always polite, friendly and informative to me. I highly recommend this business.

Israeli Accents could be the gold standard of Judaica but it isn’t and it is solely because of customer service. The owner has an eye for beautiful Judaica, artwork and jewelry. But she is incredibly rude, and fails to recognize that her poor behavior rubs loyal customers (like me) the wrong way, to the point that I will not shop there anymore. Additionally, when I shared my experiences with my friends, they too stopped patronizing Israeli Accents. Instead of building “good will” in the community, and using that good will to expand her customer base and building out a fantastic webpage to even expand that customer base beyond Montgomery County and Maryland, the owner is wasting her talents and “artistic eye.”

Lovely store with fantastic variety of judiac items. Very friendly store owner. As of 9-13-20, during the COVID-19 pandemic. walk-in hours 12-4. During the week call to schedule an appointment.

My husband and I went to the shop and found a very nice selection, but the owner extremely rude and pushy. She asked me twice if we were planning to purchase something. Actually, we were, but decided not to because of the poor service. As diplomats who have lived all over the world, the sarcastic attitude and poor service that we received was uncalled for and not expected at all. I am being extremely generous giving that place even one star. Highly not recommended:(

The salesperson/owner is really rude! I hadn't been in at least a year because of the last rude experience. Today, I went in looking for a specific item and she didn't have the item. She then asked if I needed something else and my reply was no I didn't need anything. She hen responded "whatever." Yikes I have never received treatment like this in my entire life!!!!! I will never be back and will be going to Baltimore or Amazon for my Judaica needs.

First off, we're very lucky to have Israeli Accents. There are not many store like this... not just in the area... but on the entire east coast. Now, I'll address the elephant in the room. Yes, the store is pretty pricey. But you have to chalk that up to a few things. 1) Most things are imported 2) This is a very small business 3) They are pretty much the only game in town If you want a menorah/ mezuzah/ talit/ kiddish cups/ wedding gift for a Jewish couple: Israeli accents has that in good supply. And we all know demand in Montgomery County is high for that sort of thing. Outside of that, we were helped by one of the the funniest and wonderful saleswomen ever. I'm pretty certain that she's the owner of the store. I told her that my talit was bought there for my Bar Mitzvah almost 21 years and she had remarked how she had been there for something like 32 years. They certainly have staying power. She also had me cracking up like the entire time I was there. I was like... man this woman should be a stand up comedian. She was hysterical. Very blunt, and forward, and honest and dead pan. Just my type of humor. Can't wait to go back. I need a mezuzah for my own home and I was eyeing one there that was quite beautiful.

A nice selection of beautiful (albeit very expensive) items. The reason for the low rating is the salesperson/owner, who was pleasant to chat with prior to checkout, was extremely rude to my wife at checkout. When my wife noticed a problem with an item she was about to buy, the response was, "Seriously?". And with attitude too. I would normally give that a pass if it happens once, but two more snarky comments followed as my wife continued to consider her purchase of a special menorah for a close family friend. We won't shop there again.
