A little dated, but super convenient to the metro. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

This is an old hotel. The rooms face as atrium with little light. Feels like you are in jail. And for $500 a night it's definitely not worth it! Walkable to food and drinks.

This hotel is clean, has a restaurant, onsite parking, & easy access to DC using the Washington metro Twinbrook station across the street at the back of the hotel. I've stayed there twice and really like the cleanliness, food, nearby shops, and access to DC.
Rooms: The rooms are clean, all components work well. The beds are really comfortable- i always sleep well. I've only ever stayed in atrium view rooms (not city view), but I'm there to eat & sleep and get into the city where I work.
Food and drinks: I've eaten breakfast at the restaurant and it was good. I've also had a drink at the bar in the evening. If you're looking for a lively place, this isn't it. But if you want a clean place with good service, I think this is a good place to be.

Last Wednesday I attempted to do a late, in-person check-in after midnight. I agree with other reviewers that the hotel lobby is dark, spooky and unwelcoming. I likewise agree about how rude the staff are. And, although management keeps responding here that that’s not how they do business - apparently it is, since I had the same bad experiences, recently. The clerk refused to make a reservation for me, told me I had to do it myself-then burst into the bathroom where I was charging my phone to tell me to get out, or he’d call the police. However, I’m a Hilton Honors Rewards member, which should preclude such horrid treatment. Subsequent complaints to the manager were dismissive and very rude. The manager said his staff acted appropriately per their “homeless protocol”. Except - (racially) profiling people based on assumptions is illegal and wrong.
Safety: Women aren’t safe at this hotel, since male staff feel justified in barging into the women’s bathroom for no reason, just to yell at us to “GET OUT!!!”
*UPDATE: I AM a HHonors Reward Member who only went to the bathroom because the clerk refused to make a reservation for me, telling me to do it myself, and no - he wouldn’t give me water to take medicine. The cold, callous, uninformed and incorrect response from them is indicative of their bad “customer service”. The false assumptions and baseless accusations are unnecessary, unwarranted and definitively unappreciated. This last month alone I’ve spent more than $2,000 at HILTON hotels. So, to now say I’m not a customer and haven’t been - is patently untrue. Even a cursory review of my account would’ve informed you of that fact.. Be careful who you defame, libel and slander…

Stayed here during my military PCS. The parking garage can be kind of tight. Very close to a metro station. Do not spring for the breakfast included. Do spring for the parking package.

This hotel is dirty and feels like a bad B-roll movie set - old, plain and ugly, and lacking any sense of comfort. This is my second stay and both have been poor experiences. The rooms are not well cleaned and are very dated. Walls are very thin and I heard my neighbors in their bathrooms. The AC units in neighnoring rooms actuality vibrate the walls and bed in your own room. The coffee is extra horrible. Unfortunately, I'm forced to stay here for work, otherwise this would never be my choice

Have stayed at this hotel for over 30 years, but this is first return in over 10 years. Remodel improved ambiance and somewhat modernized the rooms, especially glass at each level that limit the noise from the atrium. Staff is extraordinarily eager to assist. Received daily texts to assure l was comfortable.

The staff was rude to me upon checkin when I asked about my wife finding a lower room rate and were dismissive, ‘the rate is the rate’. Our room had one towel with two queen beds, the manager this morning was extremely rude not allowing me to sit in a chair off the lobby, making me go back to my room and wake up my family because ‘we don’t know who you are, most definitely will not be returning and feel bullied by their rudeness. Room furniture was incredibly uncomfortable as well. Definitely a cheap property that I wouldn’t recommend at all. Lobby and public areas had limited seating as well and not welcoming, like they are still moving in and haven’t furnished the entire place yet. Toilet was running when we checked in and is still running but not worth my time and interruption to get it fixed but clearly not environmentally conscious as nobody on their staff noticed prior to checkin.

The hotel where I stayed for 3 days when I came to Maryland. There was no inconvenience at all as there were Korean staff, and all the other staff were friendly and warm. It is an old hotel, but well-maintained and the rooms were very clean. There is a subway station right in front, so it is easy to go sightseeing in Washington, and there is a safe way right next to it for water and toothbrushes. It's great for buying daily necessities, etc., and shopping malls such as Trade Joe's and Ross's are just a block away, so it's very convenient to buy gifts. There are also good restaurants and Korean restaurants nearby, so it's a great hotel to quietly relax while visiting Washington. Parking is cheap at $25 per night, and if you want a cheaper place, you can park in the safe way or at the subway station right next door for around $10. It was a very good choice on this trip, and I was especially happy having simple fruit and coffee with my family in the backyard every morning. We would like to express our gratitude to our Korean employee Jay.

Not many amenities. They have a gym but that’s all. No pool or spa, there was no bellman to help with luggage. Menu was small, but the food was good and the restaurant service and time service was great. There are grocery stores and restaurants nearby. The conference room staff were excellent, but the sound system was wanting. There could have been another screen closer to the speaker or hard of hearing services.

Hilton is our go-to when traveling, and the Rockville Hilton is no exception - an excellent staff, clean, friendly & always able to accommodate. Convenient to local shops, as well as the Twinbrook Metro for care free trips into DC.
Rooms: Clean & comfortable
Walkability: Near what you’d likely need
Food and drinks: Local eats & drinks within walking distance

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. While the rooms are spacious and well-maintained, paying over $600 for a room without windows was disappointing. The cleanliness and daily housekeeping were excellent.
However, the hotel itself felt deserted and eerie, especially at night. The vast unused spaces added to the unsettling atmosphere, reminiscent of a horror movie. This ambiance extended to the staff, particularly one receptionist. Despite often being the only guest passing through, greetings were rare. They locked the secondary doors, forcing me to switch entrances and navigate the building on my own. When I questioned this, one particular staff member responded rudely, stating other guests were the priority before they could come open the doors for me.
Additionally, this same receptionist was unresponsive and unhelpful. When I called to inquire about a microwave, I was curtly told there wasn't one. Yet, upon returning to the hotel and asking in person, I was directed to a microwave right next to the counter.
This hotel has potential, but this receptionist significantly detracts from the overall experience.
edit: as I can’t reply on google maps please share your whatsapp number so we can chat about it.
