I went to rent a car for 7 days, unfortunately Andres was there buy himself. I asked them if I could return the car earlier, they said that before the end of the 4th day it was ok. Today is the 4th day and Bryan was assisting us, I went to return it and all were lies. First Bryan said that if you rent a car on a Wednesday and return it a Thursday that counts like 2 days ( first lie, if you don’t believe me go online and check yourself) second issue, in the meantime I was talking to him they charged my credit card for the whole week, coincidentally? I don’t think so. And them when I start complaining Bryan said that he never talked to me…at the end Andres was nice to us but Bryan kept taking over me and he didn’t want to hear me or assist me in order to clarify the problem. At the end of the day I had to return the car earlier and nobody helped me or took a minute to help me, they just ask me to call customer service and take it from there.

If you’re in a rush, this place will make you even later. It takes about 15 minutes to check- in and receive your car. I’ve been renting for over a decade, and I’ve never experienced such a long wait. Not to mention that if you don’t have a vehicle or have full coverage on said vehicle, you will be obligated to pay the minimum insurance coverage of $32/day. Try your luck with Budget or Enterprise.

Turns out they’ve moved and no documents or customer service lines reflect the move. Hertz app and Google Maps are also incorrect. New address for Rockville location is 1052 Rockville Pike.

I should have read these reviews after renting the car for 3 weeks in which my car insurance was going to cover all the expenses for the weeks after that they started charging me 3 differents amounts for 3 days in a row as $600 and when I want to try to talk to them is imposible to reach with someone nice and kind is no one can't help you.my insurance try to reach instead me and they can not neither.. and they don't return the calls and money. In the phone that appears in the web no one answer is a robot only gives options and that 's it.There is only a robot thayou those options they give more options and when you select one you get other options and there is no time when an agent can answer you and

Mixed about this place. I’ve had one really great experience here where everything went right and one terrible one where their system went down as I was in the process of checking out a rental. They referred me to another Hertz but that location didn’t honor the rental agreement. Long story short, I’m renting again this upcoming week and hoping for the best. I’ll update my review after it’s all said and done.

This lady behind in here cubicle is the rudest employee I’ve seen in a while. Literally goes “I already told you I’m not gonna help you…..” all because I couldn’t listen to 2 people talk at once… her name is Tiffany and believe it or not she is the regional manager

Only one person working at the location. Super slow check in. Waited over an hour with a reservation. Only one person checking in and going get vehicles from the rear of building. Driving vehicles out front waiting to go over vehicles body work, walk around. Worst than going to MVA to get anything done. If you have all the time in the day this is your location. If you have plans do not come here. You will miss all your appointments.

Beware. I rented a car here that had existing damage to the windshield. I never really noticed the damaged windshield until I left the rental office and drove on the highway --- a huge crack started moving across the windshield. Luckily the agent took the pre-rental photos, where you can see the damage to the windshield was there before I took possession of the rental car. However, 4 months later, I was notified that they filed a claim against my insurance company and are also trying to charge me personally for the damage! Rent here at your own risk.

After Spending over $560.75 within 4 Weeks breaks my heart to be treated so Poorly by Management Mrs. Desiree & Herts Rep: Nick, after displaying my confirmation reservation number. They were incredibly short tempered & dismissive offering no alternative when I arrived. All these vehicles on the lot yet none for me. Favouritism racism it’s all alive and well at this Rockville Pike Herts Location!!!..I also received a Threatening car message after returning the vehicle just ridiculous!! I called herts mentioning my receipt & received a halfhearted apology. This company is the Worst!!! I was told by nick they closed at 5pm, I then looked on the door at the operating hours which displayed 8:Am - 5:30pm he then said “well yea but we need that time to clean up”…None of these individuals should be in customer service I’m willing to bet you can’t find 5 customers of recent saying one positive thing in reference to the services they have received from any of the employees here.
