The folks working the pharmacy are all great people and very helpful. An idea would be to have the customer enter their DOB on a keypad rather than having to announce your age to the whole world. Another way would be to use an arbitrary customer number.

These folks went above and beyond to help my daughter get the antibiotics she needed.

This is for the Harris Teeter Pharmacy in Park Potomac, MD. The manager of the pharmacy is Mo, and he is professional, knowledgeable, and fabulous in every way. However some of his employees, when asking for your date of birth, you have to practically scream it out to them in a crowded store, with a line behind you at times. They should institute having a paper pad there so that you can write it down and just show it to them. No one wants to have to yell out their date of birth, due to privacy concerns.

We live 1 mile from the store and have been using it since it opened. As time is going on, we're less and less pleased. The plastic bags in the produce section or impossible to open without licking your fingers, which is an absolute no-no during Covid. I go to giant, Balducci,... All of those have bags that I can open with my bare fingers. Harris Teeter's bags are as thin as they can possibly be and I can't grip them to open them without wetting my fingers in the sink by the floral area. Ridiculous. There are no hand sanitizers in the checkout area to be found! A staff person told me that they had run out and we're having trouble getting more. Meanwhile, I looked to my left and saw a new $5.99 display of wipes that could be purchased by customers. Is Harris Teeter that cheap that they want to save money and get us to buy our own wipes? I'm not impressed with the customer service. Even the bags used at check out are as thin as they can possibly be.... I'm talking about both the plastic bags and the paper bags.. Trust me, HT, we noticed these things especially when we're at other stores and see the comparison. I think it's time to go to my other stores instead.

My experience working for Harris teeter has been horrible. For the way they treat their employees that have put in their time and energy for years to start a career, they have no compassion or acknowledgement for recognizing the hard work most employees sacrificed. I can guarantee if they are going to continue treating former employees this way, Harris teeter will not survive. Maybe in the short run but based on my experience, they are headed down a slippery slope and probably will not make it in the long run if they can't change their ways but good luck though.

This store is close to myself and others but that is the only positive (and maybe the sushi). The rest is horrible. For example, the dairy products WILL consistently spoil weeks prior to their expiration or be spoiled upon purchase (including milk, cheeses, etc). The produce is equally low quality. All this along with high prices make for a pathetic grocery store. Update 11/24/19- Since the store is so close, someone bought yogurts there last week. Guess what? All spoiled! Seriously, you must have your refrigerators at a low temp or leave products out prior to stocking! Update 12/24/19- Went there to pick something up, and guess what, moldy, rotten chestnuts for Christmas! Last time going there, except maybe to get Sushi from Eddie!

This is my local HT. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Items are well stocked although I have had a couple visits where the produce section looked like someone wiped them out, but they usually re-stock within a day. Lines can be a little long at checkout. But I think it's mostly cause people have their carts full. I'm not a big fan of self checkout but when I do use it, there's always staff available if something goes wrong.

Very disappointed. Leave grapes out for anyone to sample. They grab a handful of grapes from open bags. Also done by a kid and a man who then spit out the product. Sample area should be separate from the products to purchase. Very unhygienic. Spoke to the manager who says this happens all the time. Advised him , most vendors seal off the grapes. Disgusting unhealthy practice. Don't know where people's hand have been. Washing can get rid of dirt but NOT any substantial bacterial load. P Bisk MD

A very poor Harris Teeter. The produce section is just awful. Always out of stuff, whatever they do have is often rotten or near expired, and their organic selection is terrible. You will wait forever for deli meats. The store is always being rearranged for the worse. Never enough check out lines open. Other Harris Teeters are much better than this one. They really need some new management. Sad.

So this place is totally new to me and my cousins ranted & raves about their Thursday prime rib special for $10! I was like what? So my parents went and got carry out for us and they also have lobster rolls for $6.99!!! Say what!! Absolutely amazing! Lobster rolls for that price, not a bad deal at all. Decent amount of lobster in the roll. You can toast the bread at home if you like it warmed but you can't beat the price! Prime rib was a very generous amount as well, cooked medium rare which was nice. It does have some big pieces of fat but it is prime rib. Comes with 2 sides of either mixed veggies or mashed potatoes. I heard other locations have fried potatoes as well. Have to say, wish we had these deals in Cali, lol. Worth a try! Supposedly they have different deals on different days.

I would never come here if it wasn't so convenient. HT is often wiped out of items, particularly produce. The deli is the worst ever. It takes twenty to thirty minutes to get a pound of turkey CONSISTENTLY. The staff seems overwhelmed. They need tickets to stop customers from arguing with each other over who is next. THE DELI IS MADDENING.

This place is one out of many branches of stores I like . It has a good deli, and produce and bakery departments . It has good isles filled with organic and non organic foods you could ever want plus stationary pet foods isles and much more . They have a huge customer service desk area and Long rows of Cashier lines and self help lines . Upstairs they have pizzas place and seafood area and sushi bar area and also a lounge to sit in and eat your fill that the foods they serve . The atmosphere there is inviting , attentive , welcoming , and friendly . This place is incredible unlike any grocery pl;ace I had ever seen before . This nearly beats out Safeway maybe even Giant . This place has all the good deals you can ever think of or want . So stop on by and have a good time shopping there and I promise you will not regret it . They look forward to seeing you all very soon .

frequent long lines in early evening and mediocre at best hot bar make this a subpar shopping experience. The good sushi bar is the best thing about this store.

I have been a frequent at this Harris Teeter for a long time and they have yet to disappoint me. The employees are extremely friendly and willing to help you with anything you need. One woman always allows me to try their high quality deli meats; she always has a smile on her face. The people behind the sushi counter are extremely accommodating (and their sushi is INCREDIBLE). A man today helped me at the self checkout by making sure I snagged all the best deals on my items. He even gave me a free bag! Overall, I felt very well cared for here. And the prices aren't too bad either! I highly recommend their subs ($6.99 for 12 inch but $5.99 on Fridays) and their sushi (the vegetarian is only $4.99!)
