The October born members in the chapter of my sorority picked a sisterhood activity at Hammer and Stain. The icing on the cake was that this is a Black Women Owned business. The customer service was superb. Prior to our arrival, they curated designs that we could pick from that catered to our sorority or we could pick from the designs they already had in the shop. We also were able to bring our own food. If you are looking for a place to host a birthday party or any group activity, this is a perfect option.

Love Hammer & Stain Rockville! Excellent customer service and quality products! I inquired about purchasing "at home kits" late afternoon on Friday of MLK weekend and Robyn had everything ready and delivered to my home the next morning! I ordered projects for my kids (9 and 6 yrs old) and their cousins (17 and 13 yrs old) for an outdoor and socially distant "QuaranTeam project". The kits arrived individually packaged with easy to follow instructions. The projects provided the kids with true home decor "adult" projects.

Robyn is the best! I wanted to come in and just make a simple sign, all by myself. I messaged her what I wanted it to say and we worked out the details via email. If you have an idea - odds are Robyn can help you accomplish it.The first time I came in on a weeknight. Everything was ready for me to go for it. The staff gave me directions and then pointed out if I need a refresher they were also on the wall. I sat with another group - since it was mid week and had a blast with them. I love my sign - and it is truly the motto of my kitchen "If I stirred it, it's homemade!" I came back a second time with my mom and had a blast. Again I had worked with Robin to create a special project for me - creating a unique sign for our game room. Seriously Robyn and her team are the best... Cannot wait for my next visit

We had an amazing time! They held a special event for Harry Potter's birthday, complete with butterbeer, the movie in the background, and trivia! Highly recommend attending a session!

What a surprise! Came to a 7 year old b day and we had a great time and left with great art that was made from great templates provided by the staff I will recommend this for any 7 and up younger kids might get figity requires some patience.
