Prices are high, but prices are high at all grocery stores, and this store doesn't haven't the purchasing power the chains have. My only complaint is that the deli employees often don't pay attention and get orders wrong.

I'm shocked that this store has EVERYTHING. They make their own bread. Their produce section has every fruit and veggie. Their sandwiches are delicious. And you don't need to wonder fifty aisles to find what you need.Beer and wine! And great service.This is better than any regular grocery store.

I love shopping here because of all the local products they offer. I can find local meat, vegetables, and even snacks/pantry items. I hope it never changes!

Good deli. Fresh produce. Sales can get some good deals on the produce. Prepared meats like meatloaf, etc. can save time and are tasty. On the downside, it is somewhat pricey compared to regular supermarkets like Giant, Safeway, etc. Still less expensive than an ultra gourmet shop.like.Balducci's.

Had chopped liver sandwich. Horrible. Mushy. Gooey. Very unpleasant. Threw out. The rye bread was good as well as chocolate layer petit cake. Checkout crowded. Not enough room for walker to get through.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Reasons worth shopping here for: 1) Local produce! You can actually buy real tomatoes in the summer right here grown locally. Squash, zucchini, apples (an endless variety), plums, eggplant etc. All locally grown, i.e. tasty. 2) Extremely convenient location if you live in the area. 2) Extremely convenient hours. I have two young kids and a full time job. Being able to go there and get what I need late in the evening is worth gold. 3) A local business. 4) Wonderful staff! 5) They will help you with your bags to the car. 6) Variety is good. Obviously not as good as in a large store but great. Shrimp, veal, trout, salmon. All sorts of sausages (although I never really buy sausages but see many options.) 7) Great bakery options. The soda raisin bread is to die for. Freshly baked cookies for the kids! 8) Good and healthy deli options: all sorts of salads to get for lunch, bagels, club turkey sandwich etc. 9) I have the feeling they treat their staff well. People look happy. 10) Prices are higher than large chain stores like Giant, but definitely reasonable. More importantly though, did I mention how great the staff is? A couple of years ago, I went to this store to get a sandwich. It was on the weekend. I just wanted to get my daughter out of the house and fed. It was winter and cold and I didn't have the energy to take her to a playground. We pay for the sandwich, we go outside and we sit down outside the store on the curb and start eating. It was cold. A few minutes later, a staff member comes out and tells me that we can come inside to eat our sandwich if we want to. I thanked him and explained that I am basically trying to spend some time with my daughter outside. How sweet... These are good people.
