This is a larger store with good selection. I prefer to use the ScanIt devices to scan my groceries as I go. The ones at this location are often not working properly when I visit.

I had a good reference about this store but today, 6/5/24, I went to buy 4 dyes for men and to my surprise when I got home one of the boxes were empty ?? how is it possible that I pay 14 dollars plus taxes for something that does not exist, that's too bad

They have added free electric car charging with two stations.
The self checkout stations require too much staff intervention. The weight of my reusable shopping bags set off the alarm.
The self checkout stations are too crowded together and still a royal pain. Also why can't the checkout stations read the four or five digit bar codes on fruits and vegetables.

I drive all the way from where l live jus for the French baguette . Please make sure that you maintain the 6:15pm time for them to be ready and available. I really enjoy how well crusted and warm they are always.A big shout out to Maria at the Bakery, always cheerful.
Whenever she bakes the French baguettes am sure she adds "love" ,which could be her secret ingredient adding the oomph taste. One bite into her freshly well baked french baguettes taste different from any other giant shops. I don't mind waiting if l arrive before they are out.

I've been primarily a Giant shopper for 25 plus years. I like the variety of food. I don't always like the prices but I like the convenience of having the pharmacy at my grocery store. It's close to my home and there's plenty of parking. I do wish they had more trees for shade in the summertime, though.

No EZ pass for like two weeks in a row.
Bad Customer Service. Didn't even offer any other way to obtain it. Giants are supposed to have EZ passes.

Giant food at Rockville has a lot of varieties, I usually like to shop my groceries and other food items from there. Today, unfortunately, many shelves in different aisles were empty, not sure why!

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they almost never have baskets near the entrance and I have to walk around for a while to find one.
Edit 3/31/24: I'm docking another star. For the past couple of months, I can't seem to find any baskets at the entrance and I hate walking around the store for 2 hours just to find a basket. Please have your store associates collect the baskets and place them by the entrance. Otherwise, I'll consider shopping at your competitors a couple of blocks away who have their baskets readily available by their entrance.
