If you are looking for a Soviet era grocery store experience this is your place. High prices, empty shelves and unhonored or confusing sales. Luckily it's mostly offered with a smile.

You wouldn't think it would be hard to find chicken thighs with the skin on? Well, guess what? I spent an hour calling around to various Giants looking for my chicken thighs. It turns out more people want the skin removed. : ( Enter, my hero, Steve, the meat manager at this Giant. Who found my chicken thighs and put them in the back for me. All while he was there all alone in the meat section. This Giant is well stocked, has a great Gluten free section and Hispanic food section. The people who work there are very nice and accommodating. The store is well stocked. It is clean and is well managed. Located across the street from the Rockville Post Office, you can get two errands done at one time. Score! Thanks, Steve, my puppy and I thank you. Thanks Giant for the excellent service.

This store does seem somewhat smaller than some of the other locations that I've been to. I came in here to specifically buy some orange juice, but I walked out with the juice, four bagels, cream cheese, and a box of pop tarts to snak on later. I was considering to buy sone turkey from the deli, but the problem was that I don't have a place to refrigerate it. When I came in during the morning, there were more eorkers stocking shelves in the aisles then there were actual shoppers. Apart from that, everything was clean and the shelves appeared to be stocked and ready for the day's customers.

After failing to get my Moderna booster at a CVS pharmacy, I drove from Bethesda to the Giant Pharmacy at 625 Hungerford Drive, Rockville, MD. On the phone, they said that they had Moderna and Pfizer and that walk-ins were welcome. Wrong. A pharmacist or pharmacy employee told me that they only give the vaccine by appointment. I told her about what the phone said, and she repeated that they don't accept walk-ins. Her tone was rude. By the way, this has been my experience in many pharmacies. Do they select pharmacists and pharmacy employees to be ruder than the average supermarket employee? After two failed attempts to get the booster, I understood how some people may not get vaccinated for lack of easy access.

Agree with many below. Conveniently located with good parking. But poorly stocked and limited selection. Customer service is non-existent, or terrible. This Giant is worthless. Not planning to try again.

Nei is an awful cashier. Super unhelpful and dismissive. She needs to be trained better.

This pharmacy has been nothing but problematic since I've used it. They've not informed me of issues with prescriptions. They've misinformed me about availability of important medications, the staff is not accommodating. They've left me waiting for an hour or two for a 10 minute refill just to let me know they can't fill it after I complain. I'll be switching to someone else as it's just ridiculous at this point.

This is a review of the pharmacy NOT the grocery store. Every time I come to the Giant pharmacy and have to deal with the lead pharmacist - I think her name starts with an H (she has olive skin tone, brown hair, middle-aged), I have the WORST experience. She's rude, has zero sense of customer service and does nothing to assist customer concerns or alleviate any forms of anxiety. Honestly not sure why you would work as a customer serving pharmacist with that kind of temperament. Will be switching pharmacies for sure.

Very pleased with my experience at Giant. Perhaps my favorite thing about Giant is the free electric charging spot right at the front of the parking lot. For the most part, the store is well-organized. As is true with any grocery store, some products (like hot sauce or salsa) can be found in a couple different places, so finding the exact brand you want can be a little tough sometimes. Giant has a huge variety of products, though, and does a good job of highlighting unique products, such as local-owned and women-owned/operated. As expected, there are several dedicated areas for products designed for food sensitivities. Finally, the staff is kind and attentive. They make sure lines don't get too long, work efficiently, and help you find discounts (or at least make sure your Giant card is working!)

My mother-in-law was sent an email under false pretenses to send a friend 3 $100 iTunes gift cards. She went to Giant to buy the gift cards for her friend. Thank goodness Donnell Griffin, head cashier at this Giant store, asked who she was buying it for. He told her it was a scam and saved her from becoming a victim. We're so grateful to Donnell and Giant! Great service!
