Lola is an expert at what she’s doing. Not only she knows her stuff, she’s also considerate of the bride’s concerns and questions and try her best to answer everything clearly and professionally. The way she quickly pinpoint every little detail of the dress to be able to give the best outcome as possible is phenomenal. I am a type A bride so I thought of every question and detail I could be doing/changing with the dress before going to the first appointment and to my surprise, she mentioned them all before I even thought to ask. Lola carefully pinned the dress to the length we want which will only touch the floor and it flows nicely when I walk (see the picture below). She also recommended the kind of bustle that will look best with my dress, shape wear to use, to changing the comb on my veil to metal comb instead of plastic, tighten my sleeves a little bit for a better fit, etc. It took us about 4 appointments for the dress to fit me perfectly (she’s always mindful of when the dress should be done ever since we started) and I loved every single one appointment with her. She’s extremely a joy and pleasure to work with. And her price is extremely reasonable. Do yourself a favor and get your wedding dress to Lola!

Lola is truly fantastic! She altered my wedding dress, and I truly could not have been luckier. It turned out PERFECT. She is professional, directive (in the best way!!), and so very kind. She made the entire process fun and was so flexible in helping me to get fittings in while I was in town. I HIGHLY recommend her!!

Lola is an absolute professional. She really knows what she’s doing. She made my wedding dress fit me perfectly with no issues. Not only is she an expert at what she does, but she is also really friendly and funny. She gave me so much good advice like what brands of underwear are good, which dry cleaners is the best, and pretty much anything you’ve ever wondered pertaining to your wearing your dress. I loved working with Lola! I came to her with a sample wedding dress that needed to be taken in two sizes, hemmed, and bustled. She was proactive in noting what areas needed work and incredibly detail oriented, making sure the dress fit perfectly. She added a 4 point bustle and made sure the hem lay straight so I could move easily. The pricing was also very reasonable considering all the alterations.

Lola was such a gem to work with and did the most beautiful job with alterations on my wedding dress. She was so patient with me and so kind each time I came in to see her! Lola was professional and helpful not only with ideas and suggestions but she offered patience and understanding! I brought her a dress that I wanted re-designed. It was a Mon Cheri dress that was beautiful but was too fancy, I wanted it straightened, sleeveless, and not flowing at the bottom but it needed to maintain the appliqué not an easy request!! Lola was able to make the dress exactly as I imagined, in my time frame and the cost was very reasonable. She is an artist at her craft!

I bought my wedding dress at I Do I Do Bridal in Gaithersburg, MD and they recommended Lola of G2G Couture for alterations and I am so grateful! Not only did Lola make the dress fit like a dream, she was also very fun to work with! I was worried dress fittings would be stressful but she made them enjoyable! Lola provided a custom fit for my second hand wedding dress - which needed a reworked bodice, and which was a lace-up for a woman with a torso larger than mine. Lola was so warm, personable, caring, capable, and professional - not to mention, she does great work - that I almost hate to write a review, lest she and her co-workers become too busy!

Lola altered my wedding gown as well as my bridesmaid dress for my sister's wedding, both while I was pregnant. She is really great at her art and I highly recommend her. Lola is a super pleasant person as well, and that helps when you are stressing out about your big day! So happy I found her!

Lola is the BEST!
My sister-in-law recommended her to tailor my wedding dress and she did a bang-up job. She is very personable and professional. She took her time to make sure I was comfortable moving in the gown, including walking, sitting, and dancing! She never rushed me out the door and always takes her time.
Considering it's COVID, she keeps a clean and safe environment, which was important to me. Thank you so much, Lola <3

Lola is a miracle worker! She altered my wedding dress once, and then she re-alter my dress a second time after a surprise pregnancy. She did an amazing job both times. My wedding was pushed backed due to COVID, and by the time it took place, I was 4 months along in my pregnancy. Lola was able to work her magic (again) and re-alter my dress to fit me perfectly, despite my growing belly. She saved me from having to buy another dress! She definitely knows what she is doing, and is very processional as well. I highly recommend her!
