The unit and facility is nice and location was convenient. Their practice of raising the rent every four months until it’s too expensive to stay there is borderline unethical. It’s a great place to rent until they decide they don’t want you in the unit.

I had a very good experience with CubeSmart. The staff was always helpful. The locker space was clean, dry, and pest free. I'd definitely use this facility again.

Poor Communication across the board. I am a new customer of CubeSmart, right down the street from my new place. I had several questions about renting from CubeSmart, so I went to this location four times to see the unit and ask my questions; however, there was never anyone in the office. Finally, I booked my reservation online as I was preparing to move. My reservation was accepted; however, within 24 hours, it was canceled. I didn't understand what happened, so I called the office for help. After numerous calls, I spoke with "Anthony" and explained that my reservation was canceled and I needed his help to reserve space for my moveAnthony informed me that Cubesmart doesn't reserve space for over a week. I was perplexed because the website never indicated such, and the online booking system confirmed the requested date. I explained that I historically rented from Public Storage and had never heard of such timeframes. I asked if he could help me understand what I should do. Anthony grew frustrated and irritated as he rudely informed me that this was their policy and that if I didn't like it, to go back to Public Storage as another employee was trash-talking in the background. I was appalled at the behavior. Then Anthony proceeded to hang up on me and turn the voicemail on to avoid my calls.I contacted the District Manager, Ciro Vigilante, requesting a phone call back to discuss my experience and my rental. Instead, I received two emails after 8:00 p.m. EST stating he was trying to reach me. I responded by requesting a phone call explaining my issues, and I sent him a Google review. That didn't matter since I have yet to speak to Ciro. Clearly, none of these employees understand the true meaning of customer service. POOR COMMUNICATION.I ended up calling customer service again, and the lovely lady helped me book my space, paid online, and promised to have a manager call me back. Unfortunately, as awesome as she was, no manager has called me yet.If it weren't for the desperate need, I would have never rented from CubeSmart. The experience has been stressful and frustrating.The property and unit are immaculate and well-kept.

In pervious rentals the building was always immaculate, however this time you could tell, the property could potentially go down. Management is young and inexperienced with how customer service plays a major part in satisfaction scoring. The 2 gentleman need much training and I honestly don't know if that would help.( Not the new guy Mickey or something like that) Bring back the old team. This definitely will hurt potential business.

Signing up for a CubeSmart storage unit was very easy. The Customer Service Rep was very helpful. The facility is very clean and efficient.

My experience has been good. The only thing is they may need 2 or 3 more carts for people...or add more carts with a vending fee

Have been a customer for years. We just went to a smaller unit and the transfer was handled perfectly. Great staff, very clean facility, easy in easy out. You won’t be disappointed.

Not sure how they won an award for customer service, this place is probably the worst I've ever experienced. I've been sitting outside the office for half an hour on/off the phone with the call center trying to pay my bill in cash, but the office is locked up/dark. They aren't supposed to close until 5pm, but I guess they decided to take off early today for funsies and not alert anyone at corporate. My things have apparently been double padlocked and my gate access code was inactivated because I'm a few days late on one payment, and now they won't even let me make my payment so I can go in and grab ONE THING for my kid's 1st birthday, tomorrow. I've called corporate multiple times, and finally got a Supervisor who will be escalating this issue to a District Manager, so here's hoping for everyone at this office, because I'm about to try and get them all fired. Absolutely ridiculous.

The customer service was great! I got to see the actual space first to decide which size unit I wanted; the space was clean and the whole rental process was fast and efficient.

Complete scam. Pricing is not transparent. They give you a deal for the first month, then it's full price. And THEN the price increases after five months (and so on and so forth), without notifying the customers beforehand about this change in contract or upcoming change in price. Shady, unethical, and lacking transparency. Shame they penalize loyal customers. Save your money and go to a place that won't try to charge you more money without you noticing.

Save yourself and go to Public Storage its way cheaper and you get more. Cube smart is overpriced for no reason, has poor customer service, only one elevator, and the rent goes up after every 6 months. They charged late fees during the pandemic illegally (and the managers response was "but everyone is getting free checks aren't you"). I also experienced racism at the Rockville, MD location.
