This shop has such heart and is a great little hidden gem. It's filled to the brim with fun and laugh provoking objects and snark. It has lots of wallet critical hit objects like Vera Bradley too.
The shop owner was warm and welcoming and the store was a great place to duck in out of the weather while visiting Rockville Town center.

My wife and daughter found this little store for gift shopping after lunch. Wonderful place to find some great deals. Most of the things were 50% off. They have a large vera Bradley collection as well. The staff seem very pleasant to my wife and daughter.

I used to enjoy this beautiful boutique. The previous associate was awesome! I asked to return a defected candle that I purchased well within the return window- the brunette lady acted like it was a gosh darn problem. I exchanged and purchased two other candles ( which I shouldn't have due to her less than par demeanor). She actually lit the candle in store to apparently verify that it indeed was defective. This was disgusting. Seeing that it went out in front of her ( the wick tab rose up from the jar b/c it was not properly adhered to the jar and I got to burn half of it- probably a defective one. The point is- have some class. As a service women- I would have NEVER done that in front of a client. People forget that we are spending our money support their businesses in exchange for goods. I could ALWAYS shop elsewhere. Shop Local/Women's Business Center has a incubator for women owned businesses right down the walkway from here-beautiful service. I went there and had a blast !

The Cottage Monet sells home decor and thoughtful gifts. Some of my favorite items are jewelry, credit card holders, Thymes scented candles, Stonewall Kitchen jams and pancake, waffle, and crepe mixes, Corkcicle mugs, and Vera Bradley handbags.

Absolutely the best store around! Perfect place to find that perfect gift. I have special ordered dinnerware and other items. If you don't find what you are looking for just ask. I keep this store as my little secret- it just has something for everyone!

Stopped by the store today to pick up an order and went inside for a private shopping trip. The store is fully stocked with all kinds of goodies and Caya is very knowledgeable about everything in her store. She recommended Vera Bradley masks that just came in and they fit so well! Can't say enough about this store and the customer service. I'll be back again very soon.

The Cottage Monet has a little bit of everything. Stylish home furnishings, jewelry, spa gifts, fashion accessories, etc. I emailed the owner the Mother's day gift ideas I had and my price point and she emailed me back great recommendations (with photos) to pick from. She offers curbside pickup and Venmo payments so it was all contactless! Felt great to support a local woman-owned small business
