Run away from CitiBank mortgage offers. Any other company will meet your needs in a more timely, competent, respectful and accurate manner than the loan officers, loan processors and underwriters who staff their Maryland accounts.

Terrible service. The clerks there lying all the time. When you open the account, they told me I can close the account via phone. Then I called the number to close my account. A month later, I found out the account was still opened because it charges me a monthly service fee. Then I went to branch and they told me I can't close account on phone. Hahahah I wish no one will open a new account there.

Horrible ! My account got blocked several times ! They kept misspelling my last name . The Citibank in Bethesda is just as bad . The workers clearly don’t have any clue on what good costumer service means

This branch closes earlier than their published hours on Google. They can't be seriously expecting us to drive to their location to potentially see a sign on the entrance door that says they don't operate per their published Google hours. Shame on you guys. Hope Citibank finds a new crew to run that branch. How else are customers supposed to find out when your open? Oh, probably Citibank thinks we should call their CS. Well Citibank CS sometimes doesn't have accurate information either! I just called the Reston VA branch and they gave me the wrong phone number for the Rockville MD branch (I hear message no one is accepting calls at the number I was given by Reston guys). So you can't trust Citibank computers to have accurate information either. Now I know why this and the Rockville branch are rated 2.5 stars. That's probably too high of a rating though.

Worst Bank in any country. I came into open a business account because Citi was a global bank. I met with Evelyn and Erik from this branch. They both did not know what they were doing. It felt like they were writing things on paper, trying to google how to open an account (really?? this is the minimum skill for any bank representative) After 3 hours Evelyn Loh tells me my account is created but no account number given to me or any evidence of account being created other than her words. She said she will email me 2 days later with the account number and online access. 2 weeks later i still don't have online access and amidst this i lost my customer deal because Citibank does not have any experience in banking. Evelyn Loh knows nothinh about banking, she is absolutely clueless and so is her manager Erik Many people told me citibank is terrible. I thought it was an exaggeration. The experience with citibank is worse than what i have heard. i went to the bank twice to sort out my new account opening. Both times i could over hear several customers complaining on something or the other going wrong with their account. Citibank is a big scam and tbis branch espcially could be better used as a public restroom when you are traveling than a bank.
