We go to this particular Bray and Scarff even though it’s not the closest one because we always have a positive and informative experience. The showroom is great and the staff is helpful and patient (thank you , Greg!) most importantly, we found what we were looking for at a good price.

Great service. Staff is very knowledgeable. That’s the reason to go to an actual appliance store over the competition. They have the same products with the same price points, but the service and knowledge is unmatched.

Dear Customer,
I strongly advise against making any purchases from this store. I bought a Jenn Air cooktop on November 3, 2022, and the technician did not install it properly. They acknowledged this mistake and assured me that the manager, Chris from Rockville, would follow up. Although I intended to stay on top of the situation, I became busy but did reach out to the manager several times through text and phone calls, yet I never received a response.
Today, while considering buying a dishwasher, I spoke with JR, a salesperson at the store. Upon mentioning my need for service, he informed me that Chris has transferred to Frederick and that they don’t handle past clients situation, suggesting I call Chris directly. I have never encountered such poor service.
When I called Chris in Frederick, he dismissed my concerns by stating that too much time has passed for him to do anything. I explained that I had repeatedly tried to follow up and had not received any callbacks. Please, if you’re considering making a purchase, avoid this company. Their service is unacceptable, and I will ensure to share my experience on Yelp and Google so that others don’t have to go through what I have. Thank you.

After a seamless experience purchasing a dishwasher last year, we came back to Bray & Scarff Rockville to replace some more kitchen appliances. We worked with Mahsa who was wonderful. She "held our hand" every step of the way (picking the best appliances for our specific setup, coordinating delivery and install, troubleshooting, processing rebates etc.) and was very patient with our many, many questions. Thank you, Mahsa!!!

Excellent, knowledgable customer service by Greg Childress in deciding about a new microwave. Price of top line device as expected ($450). Expensive delivery, installation of microwave and trim kit above countertop, and removal of old machine: $500. Minus one star for this charge. Does one want to deal with Home Depot otherwise? Expensive question.

If you want to get detailed information from knowledgeable reps, have all your questions thoroughly answered, and long for the days when you are greeted and treated with respect upon entering, this is the place to go. JR helped me navigate through many options on appliances and their prices were reasonable.
I’m updating my review because it’s apparently hit or miss because I bought a washer dryer that was the wrong dimensions, because of the added backend bulk so it wouldn’t fit , and even though it was still in its packaging they wouldn’t replace it. Then when I call anyone, other than the sales person that sold the item, no one is willing to help probably because they’re on commission.
