Do not pay extra to have access to the M club - it is a complete rip off - there is an entire wing of rooms in serious need of upgrades - the location is ok - the conference center is good - the staff are not that friendly - for the price, there much nicer places to stay -
Rooms: Be careful - some of the rooms have not been upgraded - horrible showers
Food and drinks: Do not opt for access to the M club - completely horrible - zero service on a Friday night

I was there for a meeting and stayed 3 nights with my wife. One of the nicer Marriotts that I have stayed at. Great staff and service all the way around!

The location is great and the amenities are good too. When we first checked in, the front desk person was just so aggressive and kept talking over us. The reason I’m writing this review is because the room smelled like urine. I’m not sure if they allow pets or not but man that urine smell while I slept just kept lingering. It was honestly disgusting.

Rooms are nice and clean
I was kept awake most of the night from noise on the floor and the couple next door, that had no concept of privacy during their mating
The front desk and manager on duty during check in was cold and unwilling to accommodate guests based on their needs
You are just a transaction for the night without any personal touch
I was not asking unreasonable demands but was made to feel like I was a bother

It is everything you expect from a Marriott, which means you pay for your room and all the air that is inside it.
Everything else is extra.
One big surprise, because it isn't an inner city hotel. Is the hotel charges extra for parking in their huge empty lot. Just an FYI.
Reply to Marriot Rep - parking rates are set for safety and convenience? Sure, makes sense if you where an inner city hotel, where space is limited. But you are not, you're just fleecing your clients.

Great location as it’s walking distance to eateries & shops at Pike & Rose. Also just .2 mi walk away from red line metro with easy access to DC.

Good breakfast and evening appetizers. They have a club lounge which is very nice. Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful! Definitely coming back

When booking this hotel, you see where it’s written “hot breakfast.” They do not serve breakfast at this hotel. They sell you breakfast, it is not cheap and it is NOT free! When you pay $149 for a room in a hotel you should expect to get a free complimentary breakfast!

We attended a wedding last weekend. The service was great. I thought the parking was a little pricey. Otherwise it’s a great location for a wedding party.

A very nice and well-kept Marriott with great service and hospitality. The room was very clean and modern. Additionally, the bed and pillows were high quality. The hotel has a decent restaurant and is easily accessible from the nearby North Bethesda metro station. The only thing I wish would change is that their parking is very expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to others, and it was a pleasure to stay at this hotel.
Rooms: Rooms are very spacious and modern.
Walkability: Very close proximity to North Bethesda metro
Food and drinks: Very decent restaurant on the property.

I enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. We were visiting for an event at the hotel itself so I wasn't sure what to expect since it was a default choice to stay here. The reviews seemed good, but you never know. I was pleasantly surprised.
The hotel has a great location just a block from a great shopping center with a movie theater, several great restaurants, and some other shops. Super convenient for picking up a quick lunch or dinner.
The lobby is well appointed and immaculate. The staff friendly and helpful. Check in was quick and painless despite being a very busy time when we checked in. The room was ready and I went straight up to drop off our stuff.
The room itself was great. We had a double room on the 7th floor and I would highly recommend the higher floors. Gorgeous views from there and plenty quiet.
The space in the room was good, although the bathroom tight (door just barely clears the toilet). The beds are a double NOT a queen, so be aware of that if you need to squeeze two people into the bed. They were very comfortable though and linens clean. The room itself was very clean and well kept.
The bathroom may have been small, but it worked. I had thought the shower would have a glass enclosure, but instead we had a tub and shower curtain. Not my favorite, but we dealt with it. If you prefer a walk in shower/no tub, be sure to clarify that with check in. The bathroom was clean except there was a little mold in a few places inside the shower. It wasn't too bad and not enough to gross me out (I am easily grossed out and the hotel we came from in DC was FAR worse in this regard). The shampoo and soap provided smelled good and there was plenty of it.
Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and would absolutely stay here again.
