Went in expecting to just view some options but got a full fledged education from Alicia. She was extremely helpful in helping understand the options and explaining the manufacture of their products which many others do not do. Our situation changed and we did not end up purchasing through Bassett, but they will be on of the first ones we reach out to when it comes time to invest in furniture.

My experience working with design consultant, Tiffane was a pleasant one! This was the first time I have made a purchase at Bassett, and I have to say making a design decision was a challenge, because of the varied options available. I appreciate the time and effort put forth, and look forward to enjoying the furniture I selected.

My family and I have had a outstanding experience with Bassett Furniture and in particular with Bill Reichold at the North Bethesda store. He has gone above and beyond with us. His deep knowledge of all aspects of design, in combination with his ability to take into consideration the wishes of each member of our family, has made the daunting task of choosing furniture for multiple rooms into very enjoyable experience for the whole family. Thanks, Bill, for making this possible! And also a thanks to Michael, the manager of the store, who was terrific with us as well in helping to navigate bumps in the road when they arose. When looking for house decor or furniture, I would make your first stop Bassett Furniture.

I was in the market for a new couch and had contacted a few different companies. I went with Bassett because their customer service and attentiveness were amazing! I worked with Lyn McDermott to create a floor plan and she was incredible. I’m so happy with my purchase and experience I will only use Bassett in the future for my furniture!

Had a great experience at Bassett. My wife and I don't have strong opinions on what we need or want, and the idea of furniture shopping is like nails on chalkboard. So, when our living room needed an upgrade, it ventured out. After failing to find something at several other locations, we went to Bassett. Our sales person (Meg!) was great in allowing us to venture through the store while not crowding us. When little components of what we liked began to surface, she began to build a room. We left the first day with a good impression of what could work. She followed up with a visit to our home with samples of fabric that matched our wall colors. By the time of our third visit with her, we were ready to place an order. The furniture came quicker than expected (on the front end of 4-6 weeks).
It's important to note that it's Made in America. That matters to us too. Delivery people were amazing. Historically furniture shopping is not a pleasurable experience for us, but this was pleasant and made us look forward to seeing it real life. Now that we have, we're looking around at other ways to spruce up the house.

She attempted to answer my many many questions, always taking her time to assist me. She is a great representative of the service provided at your Bassett location in Rockville.

Pinky Connell-Lake's guidance was exceptional. I have chronic back pain. She moved right away to show us options that we thought would be best. I first met Meg Shematz when I came to Bassett looking for reclining leather furniture. She has been fantastic every step of the way. I bought a leather sectional with her along with several other pieces as she did a floor plan for me for my living room. She has an eye for detail and is a great designer. I love the patterns she selects, along with the colors and the beautiful pieces of furniture. I would never have chosen what she picked myself and it’s perfect! I love it! I’m looking forward to continuing to work with her on other rooms as she has such great ideas and has already put together two room ideas for me (I just bought a house in May so lots to do!) I highly recommend her if you are looking for anything house related - furniture, rugs, curtains, etc - she does it all and designs it for what fits your style and lifestyle.

We had a great experience at Bassett, we especially loved working with Meg as she helped us design and pick out the perfect pieces for our new house. She worked with us every step of the way, and it was great to explore and tryout multiple different options right in the store. The actual furniture delivery and install was quick and easy as well.

Consistently Awesome — top to bottom and beginning to endI find Bassett product designs stylish and elegant and, at the same time, very approachable and practical. They also have a nice variety. My design consultant (Pinky Lake) at the Rockville store is very friendly and knowledgeable — she’s just awesome! Whether for complete rooms or just pieces to complement a room, Pinky always has inspiring and creative ideas for my goals and lifestyle. It’s a pleasure to work with her!The store manager (Micheal) is very supportive of the total team in providing excellent customer service.Home delivery schedules are well communicated and handled. (Product build and projected delivery is always within the timeframe Pinky provides at time of sale — greatly appreciated for my planning purposes). The service (Sanchez Delivery) always makes sure of proper placement as they protect and respect my home and new furniture.AWESOME!
