Horrible customer service. And nasty location.

My experience was nothing but horrible at this place. The place where I usually get meat at Rockville has closed down so I decided to give it a try but believe this will be the last. The meat they have is very old you can notice it. Customer service is very mediocre as well as the nasty attitude the owner or manager has here.
If you are about your safety and well being done buy from here.

Worse grocery store ever,
1- At 9:00 am trash cans at the entrance of the store were overloaded! ( not outside, I mean inside)
2- Very messy and inorganized place. Everything was everywhere.
3- I was there for 2-3 minutes, nobody even noticed me. Awful costume service.
4-Appearance of the store was also terrible. Ugly with dirty wall paints.
I am wondering if there’s any organization overseeing these places for food safety hygiene and sanitation.

I decided to go there in preparation of Ramadan in a couple of days. The store is not very organized but this did not bother me. What bother me was the customer service. I want to say that I am a black woman from West Africa and this is my experience. I was completely ignored by the staff, while trying to buy meat. The gentleman acknowledged my presence several minutes later when there were no other customers. The cashier lady was even worse. No eye contact, no smile and not a single word. Not a single word to a customer. It is clear that they don't want muslim blacks in the shop. They will certainly be happy with my review as I am warning black Muslims to go there. It is really really sad.

We were eating nearby and saw this place and decided to go in and check it out. We saw the Afghan naan looked good and it was only a couple dollars. I don't have much information about the rest of the store but this might be the best bread we have had regardless of price.Now we make sure to stop by whenever we are nearby. The bread with potato filling is also very good, not sure what it is called. The employees we have encountered there are all very friendly and helpful.
