I just got a delivery by Darryl and Julius. the delivery team handled a tricky situation really well! Getting a refrigerator to the fourth floor is no small feat. it went smoothly despite the complications! They were professional, kind and super helpful.
I can’t thank them enough for the great job they did. Getting the old refrigerator out was a big job that Darryl did alone. I have no idea how he did it because others before him walked out on the job. They also helped me cap off the Water line .That really was above and beyond! Helping me cap off the water line is such a thoughtful thing to do, especially since it’s not usually part of the job

I was working on a resident street in DC when a delivery truck blocked in several vehicles for a delivery. I went to move my vehicle as my allowance of time in the zone was about to expire. I could not locate the driver or his support staff and got called back to the property for an emergency.
When I returned I found my van getting ticketed and the appliance land driver negotiating his way out of a ticket. The ticketer told me to take it up with the appliance land driver. He in turn told me to "Call the Police, they only take cash" then told me stop overstaying my time and offered no apology.
When contacting the main office they said it was not their responsibility because parking in DC is difficult.
Between the rude drivers arrogance and the sheer lack of recognition of their error and fault I find myself giving an otherwise good company and exceptionally low review based on their staff and standards.
As a contractor who has recommended and dealt with this company many many times in the past, I will no longer be recommending them moving forward.
Very dissapointing. See pictures for referencing the delivery vehicle and please avoid the vehicle, the driver and support staff.

Totally unprofessional. Don't believe the salesmen in that place. I am writing this review to save people from the same mistake I made. I listened to the salesman's recommendation for a new washer. I asked for a top loading agitator machine that washed very dirty clothes well (dirt from outdoor sports and gardening). He sold me a Speed Queen, said he swears by them, blah, blah, blah. I ended up with the worst washing machine I have ever had (and I am 68-yrs old, so I have had a few machines!). It just does NOT clean! No matter how much pre-treating, how much laundry soap, laundry boosters, bleach, which ever cycle I use, clothes still come out stained and dirty! I have to use 3 times more products than before, I have to use 3 times more water than before because I have to run the machine at least three times for the clothes to come out a little bit less dirty (but never really clean - see the photo below after 3 washes and all the products and cycles used). The machine was not more expensive than the others I was considering, so the salesman must get a higher commission on these, I don't know why they would recommmend it because they are lousy. And I don't even think it's an agitator, but works with vibrations or something like that, lousy! They are supposed to be for commercial laundrymat so I assumed they were very efficient. So now I am stuck with this horrible machine because I listen to a salesman who did not listen to my request to have a machine that cleans very dirty clothes well. Also, he told me once delivered I could not return it! That should have been a warning to me. And come to think of it, a few years back I bought a second fridge from them (Haier brand) which started leaking inside after a while but no one knows why or can fix it (i
have had 3 different expert repairmen check it out). So, based on these two experiences, not a good place to buy your appliances, really! Save yourselves the trouble, avoid this place like the plague!
RESPONSE TO APPLIANCE LAND RESPONSEl: The response from Appliance Land is appalling, suggesting I don't know how to use a washing machine! They want to help me with the selection of the options. Well, I have used all the available options and even those suggested by the salesman -- and which are not options on the machine -- such turning on the cycle, and turning it off when the water has filled, to let it soak. So yes, I have tried all the options. These machines are , I found out today, "inverter" technology, and if you read about this new technology (I didn't know about), it is said that it is good for delicate clothing (not my case), i.e. it does not clean well very dirty cloth that need an agitator. So, why would the salesman recommend it to me after I have said I have heavily soiled clothes to wash. This is bad business! The salesman should know about the new "impeller" technology and should have told me that if you have very diry clothes to wash, you should not get an impeller or an inverter machine. So buyers beware, they'll sell you anything, they don't care.

Update: I'm changing my rating to five stars because ApplianceLand reached out to me quickly. After another replaced part and still having issues with the fridge, they offered a complete replacement of the fridge as well as compensation for wasted food! Their attention to this issue is not what I would expect from bigger box stores and is a big added value. I will recommend them to everyone based on their care and taking up the issue on my behalf with Whirlpool. Big thanks to Marlie for taking good care of us on this!

BUT, our Whirlpool fridge needed a new compressor after 3 months. It took another month to receive the part. We got it two weeks ago and IT. HAS. ALREADY. DIED... AGAIN! I opened the freezer today and the ice bin was a swimming pool. We've lost full grocery store runs over this POS fridge, twice now. Between Applianceland, Whirlpool, and the Via Services repair Co. No one seems able to accept responsibility. Their collective empathy is through the roof though, so thats nice when throwing out $40 worth of steak. I would love to edit this post with something like "ApplianceLand came through and gave us a brand new fridge!" or "just a working fridge." Just a working fridge... Man wouldn't that be nice!
Don't buy Whirlpool is my advice, fingers crossed someone does a good deed here. In the meantime we are wasting money and food.

We recently bought a refrigerator at Applianceland, Rockville and had a great experience. TJ, the sales professional, is knowledgeable, helpful, and follows through on all discussed and agreed on. The refrigerator was delivered and installed within a week of purchase by Sergio and Sean. These guys are fantastic. They know what they are doing - they are expert, courteous, and altogether meticulous in the installation process. We couldn’t be more pleased!

Appliance Land has offered the best experiences when it comes to buying appliances. Liz, Dan and the whole staff are very helpful and very well informed on all products they offer, which made our decision making process a breeze. Their delivery folks are great too…super courteous and know what they’re doing. Darryl and Queshawn were on point and very accommodating with our delivery and installation. We highly recommend Appliance Land in Rockville!

I was having a terrible experience buying a new oven with a big box company. My friend suggested Appliance Land and I’m so glad she did. I had the most positive experience! My oven was delivered today by Darryl and Queshawn, both gentlemen demonstrated a great deal of professionalism and kindness. They, truly, went above and beyond. And, I LOVE MY OVEN! I would not hesitate to order from appliance land again.

I worked with Bill and he was helpful again (he sold a few other appliances previously), this time in finding a washer that would fit in a tight space. The two installers were just here and did a great job. It wasn't an easy fit because of an angle in the closet. The pan was an issue, and they were willing to come back to put one in since the one I had bought was too big. As it turned out, we were able to use the old pan. They cleaned up the floor and walls very thoroughly before doing the install. Well done!
