I have spent many shabbat and chagim at Aish and can honestly say it's one of the most welcoming and amazing shuls I've been to. The community is great and they really work hard to make everyone feel at home. Services are engaging and inspiring, and there is usually kiddush and seudat shlishi to which all are welcome. If you are ever in the area be sure to check out Aish, and reach out to them if you need accommodations and/or meals!

A small, friendly community with inspirational classes and lecturers. Full Shabbat services with lots of English explanations and optional classes for those who prefer to hear an all-English talk on a Torah topic. Welcoming to all Jews who are interested in connecting.

I started going to Aish HaTorah of Greater Washington about 15 years ago. I enjoy it because it is a small and friendly learning center that welcomes Jews from all backgrounds - secular, reform, conservative and orthodox. There are regular Shabbat services for Friday nights and Saturdays and classes throughout the week, including on Shabbat for those who don't want to go to the regular services. Everything is beginner friendly, but robust enough for a regular synagogue attendee. Highly recommend, especially for the High Holidays, when they bring in great speakers from around the world.
