I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at the 7-Eleven store located at 824 Baltimore Rd, Rockville, MD (Store #11595) on June 29, 2023, at around 18:30. I visited the store to purchase two packs of Marlboro cigarettes but was shocked when both cashiers flat out refused to sell me the additional packs, muttering something about their manager disapproving. What aggravated me even more was their unhelpfulness when I asked how I could contact the manager to resolve the issue. They simply refused to provide any information, except for a vague statement that the manager would be present in the store the next day. Such lack of transparency and unwillingness to assist customers is completely unacceptable.I am well aware of the legal age restrictions and product limitations related to tobacco sales, and I assure you that I met all the necessary requirements. In fact, I had already successfully purchased two packs of Marlboro cigarettes earlier during the same visit. The behavior of the cashiers was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful.I expect better customer service from a company like 7-Eleven, and it is deeply disappointing to encounter such disregard for customers' needs. I kindly request that 7-Eleven thoroughly investigate this incident and take appropriate action to rectify the situation. It is crucial for employees to understand the importance of providing excellent customer service and to adhere to the company's policies.Furthermore, I strongly urge 7-Eleven to invest in comprehensive training for their staff on customer interactions and conflict resolution. This incident has left a lasting negative impression, and I feel compelled to share my experience to inform others. In conclusion, I hope 7-Eleven addresses this complaint promptly and demonstrates a commitment to improving customer service. Maintaining high standards and resolving issues in a timely manner is essential to uphold a positive reputation.

Avoid this store if possible. Terrible experience. They have poor customer service and especially the female staff working there was very rude. I don't know if she's the owner or the manager, but she has to be nice to the customers. I will never go to this store again.

Just started working in this area and each time I've been to this location I've had good experience. The employees greeted me at the door and have been fairly friendly. I'm certain I'll continue to frequent this location because it is located around the corner from my job.

I asked my family to get me 3 things. Sour skittles, crunchy sweet tarts and a Coca Cola slurpee. This 711 didn’t have a single item that I needed.it’s insane that they don’t care enough to have 3 common items on their shelves. What on earth? It’s literally a convenience store.

They're always sort of rude at this 711, it's almost like you're bothering them. They should get trained by the staff at the 711 few miles away on Derwood Cir they're extremely nice and positive. It's frustrating shopping at this one but it's the closest to my work and sometimes I front have a choice. Whoever owns it needs to have the staff trained properly on customer service.

It's midnight I just pulled up to the 7-Eleven and they are closed? Says they will be back open at 5. I thought this was a 24-hour establishment.

Avoid this place if you can. They've hired new employees that are rude, disrespectful, and uncaring about treating customers with respect and civility. I'd rather drive further than deal with being treated like trash.

One lady at this place is constantly nasty, rude, uncooperative and refuses to correct errors. The store closes early on a regular basis. One time there were six groups of people waiting outside. The store is typically dirty. I will no longer go there because it's so frustrating.

I showed up 5 minutes before they closed so I and my friend could get a slurpee. When we pulled up, an employee walked to the door and turned the sign to closed and locked the door. Very unimpressed with the customer service at this store. Won't visit here again.

It's fine. It's a 7-11. Very few convenience stores have bathrooms for customers. Not a deal-breaker. Coffee is the same and kept fresh most of the time. They run out of milk (for coffee) too often but they always have plenty of half-and-half and french vanilla (shudder). Good parking lot for trucks. Otherwise, it's mostly like any other mostly clean 7-11.

I would give this particular 7 eleven a negative number if I could. The asian woman that works here and would be scheduled Saturday morning (when the incident took place.) needs to get fired ASAP! My wife and I went in to get a few things and after we paid we did not have enough for the coffee and we mentioned this and she opened her mouth to us loudly saying "next time don't get coffee if you don't want it!" I don't know what kind of people you all hire but the way that woman talked to us that morning, she is lucky I'm not a woman. If you go into this location and she's working, leave or make sure someone else rings you up. This was our first time in this branch since it's hidden. I actually didn't know it existed in the 18 years I've been in Rockville until I drove down Baltimore rd. But seriously, this woman is trouble and I really hope she gets canned, she does not deserve to be around anyone!
