I love this place, not only were the employees nice but it made me feel like i was at home, I was treated with care and respect also with great conversations. “Trust me they will not keep you bored.” Now on to the braiding part I got 2 Strand twist done, It was quick and perfect, provided with wash and blow dry. I have had my Twist in for about a couple months now and they haven’t been fuzzing like other hair salons I go to. I rate this Braiding company a 10/10!! And i will most definitely come back to get my re-twist. ???

Had an appt at 8. No one showed or called until I called. Now they need 15 mins running late. After waiting 45 mins, no one showed. Very unprofessional. I was not late. I called before my appt to confirm and no one answered. Yes. She did call me back but by this time I’m outside the building.

Ridiculously expensive with a terrible hair-do.
While washing your hair, they use the dirtiest of towels and you have water dripping all over you.
Overall, the experience left me feeling bitter and I would not recommend.

This is the "Best" braiding hair salon in the DMV!!! I travel a great distance rain sleet or snow to come here.

I have been coming to Marliz to get my hair braided twice now, and I have not been disappointed. They do quality work, listen to your needs, and are good with working with the scalp and your personal hair texture. My hair is never too tight, and I find the process of my hair being braided to honestly be extremely relaxing. For my fellas, this place does quality corn rows, two strand twists, etc.Services: Braids

If I could give this place a no stars I would . Been here I 4 time give me price for cornrow my the price was $55 dollar every time I went she kept going up and when I told her the was55 dollar cornrow man hair went from 55 to 100 dollar no washing no blowout . And the you lied in my face. I would l never go back do not trust her.

I take my daughter here to get braids. Mary is wonderful and each of the stylists we’ve had are fast I find her prices very reasonable.

Mary doesn’t miss!! She responds to texts and phone calls in a timely manner. She is able to accommodate my schedule. Her salon is clean and inviting. My hair always looks really nice and it’s never too tight. In additional to all those things- she doesn’t push your head when she needs you to turn and she’s a really nice and down to person woman. It’s always a nice experience and my hair always gets compliments. Thanks Mary!!I just want to add that I’m a repeat customer- I’ve had different styles and I’ve always had a great experience.
