THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Dr. Fruges and the staff are had my Bru feeling better within the hour we arrived!! THEYRE AMAZING... The compassion and concern for my pet melted my heart.. After having visited another ER a day before.. my dog wasn't feeling any better. I called Lynn Animal Hospital in distress. They returned my call within 10 minutes and gave us an appointment. Its the first place that I've been too that's not concerned with the financial part ,they have your pets health and well being as the priority!! Let's just say my dog is feeling much better.. and he's eating. He's slowly getting back to his old self. THANK YOU !! Bru now has a new home!!

The staff and the veterinarians are warm and welcoming. The vets provide complete information and excellent service. It's a pleasure to do business with them.

Just wanted to update my previous rating, while keeping the 5-star, to note that the practice really tries hard to keep their patients satisfied. They are experiencing a staff shortage, so I appreciated them squeezing me in for an issue I was having with my dog. They are hoping to onboard another full-time vet sometime next year and I look forward to continuing services with them between now and then, and beyond that.

I've been bringing guinea pigs to Lynn for checkups and treatment for decades; have to shake my head at the negative reviews, they certainly don't describe the Lynn Animal Hospital that I know. It's hard to find ANY animal hospital that works with the "exotics", and I'm so lucky I was able to find such a great veterinary hospital close to where I live. Their customer service is excellent from the time I make an appointment for one of the boys, until I walk out the door after treatments are complete. And, as happens all too often with the little animals, when one of them dies or I have to have them put down, my pet and I are treated with compassion and dignity and care. If we're talking treatments for one of my boys, Dr. Carman discusses options with me, but I have never EVER felt "pressured" into paying for treatments or medications I didn't want. Please don't let the negative reviews put you off, Lynn is the best!

This was a night and day experience from other animal hospitals in the area. We were seen on time and the entire staff was friendly and patient.

I've been going to this animal hospital for over 11 years and I'm debating on going to a new one. I really like the doctors, they're actually very nice and I think they mean well. I know they've done a lot to save tons of animals and keep our pets healthy, but something about this recent sales technique needs to be tweaked. Over the years they've been absolutely great but lately it feels like I walked right into one of those stores where every employee is trying to sell you something. I'm not sure if they're just implementing new sales techniques to bring in more money but it's very off-putting. For the most part all of my visits with this animal hospital have been good but lately, everyone seems more like salesmen. Coming from someone who's worked in sales, I've noticed everything. I've also seen other customers confused and annoyed as to why different add ons were being offered for a regular checkup. If I come in for a few things, please don't highly suggest 3 more things and push that they be done right then and there. This has happened on multiple occasions and I would prefer if I'm given a minute or a few days to think about it. A regular visit should not be turned into something much more complex (unless life threatening) and 2-4x more expensive. But I say all this to say, I 100% trust them to save my pets life if it ever came down to it, but I'm not too comfortable with this place anymore.

I was very impressed with the practice and with Dr. Frost. After my cat had a traumatizing experience the last time he was at the vet, I've been leery of trying to find a new one for him after moving to NE DC from Alexandria, VA, but my cat has been scratching one of his ears so badly that he broke skin on a Saturday and I needed to get him seen. Lynn Animal Hospital took us in right before they closed, and Dr. Frost and the assistants were very helpful and kind. My cat is a typical cat, so doesn't like to be poked and prodded but they knew how to swaddle him in a towel and also knew when to let him calm down a bit before trying more. I'm very happy to have found a vet that knows what they're doing for my d*ck head cat.

I used to really like this place. The staff was always great, friendly to my pup, and it's very close to home. However some recent experiences have left a bad taste in my mouth and I'll be searching for a new vet. I'm not sure if management changed but the staff has been anything but helpful and a tad unprofessional. Recently I called with some questions and as the receptionist was unable to help I asked to speak with a vet. I was told I'd be put on with a vet and was placed on hold. Once the person comes to the phone I begin asking questions and relaying my concerns. During the course of the conversation I asked, "are you one of the vets?" To my surprise she responds "well I work here, I'm a receptionist." I couldn't believe it! That was the last straw for me. I don't think it's good business to advise a client that they'll be speaking with a vet just for the client to get the bait and switch and end up with a receptionist. Needless to say I cancelled my Pup's future appointment and advised we would no longer support this place.-

Honestly, if I could give less than one star I would. The vet tech seemed too nervous to handle my rabbit, thankfully she didn't. The actual doctor picked him up wrong and literally DROPPED him on the floor. Ive never heard my rabbit make any kind of audible noise. He was squealing and screaming!! I thought he was gonna die he was in such a panic, I was practically in tears. The doctor managed to calm him down long enough to clip his nails but afterwards all he did was check his heartbeat and teeth. He never checked his body to make sure he was okay after the fall. Rabbits can be naturally jumpy which is why they are supposed to be picked up a certain way. I doubt he has adequate experience with bunnies. Very disappointed with my rabbits first vet visit.
