Catalina is a good teacher. She’s very descriptive when giving directions for each posture. She’s also very encouraging.

My experience with the Riverdale location has been BEYOND horrible. I booked a cryotherapy session for 2/10, that was confirmed two days before, and when I arrived I was told after being there for a good 15 mins, that there was no nitrogen. I was told that someone should have called me. As I was standing there, I get a call saying that there was nitrogen and I would need to reschedule. I rescheduled for 2/15. On 2/14, the appointment was confirmed and when I show up on 2/15, the woman tells me, “So sorry, there is still no nitrogen.” When I asked why no one called me, her lame excuse was that they have a small staff. Next she admits she was the one who confirmed the appointment with me, but not once did she answer why she didn’t call me back to let me know not to come. I took a 25 min ride each time. She gave so many excuses. She refunded my gift certificate, despite me telling her that I am a traveling nurse and my assignment would be ending that week. I can’t use the gift certificate as I live in a totally different state. Also, a friend and I had left our number on three separate occasions for someone to reach out and schedule a flex massage and not once did anyone call us to schedule. When I reminded her of this, she only gave the same lame excuse about having a small staff. Some individuals just should not be able to run a business. DONT GO THERE! Find a better yoga studio, especially since they have such a small staff.2/23/2024- Please do not respond like everything was resolved. You called and yes I did answer. I turned down your offer because the only reason you called me was because of my review. You waited several weeks and if you had not seen my review, you would not have tried to reach out and apologize for your disorganization. You do not listen at all. I told you that I was on a travel assignment that ended today, you wanted me to come today to get a service, when I am already packed and ready to go back home. So, my answer was "no" this call should have come the very next day when I was turned away for the second appointment I made, and you confirmed. My review stands PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.

Classes weren’t the problem, but getting them to stop billing was. We called multiple times and left messages. No response. They eventually emailed us that they were cancelling changes, but they never did. If you need to cancel, do it before you move across the country.

Arrived at the Riverdale location at 1003 for a 90 minute class. I was able to park and find the location. I called the business line 9 times for assistance getting into the class. On my 10th call to the business, a woman answered the phone and told me if I was 10 minutes late, no one would let me in. After stating the ridiculousness of a business not answering their main line for 15 minute or having anyone to let guest in, i stated that I would leave a review. The manager of the studio then called me from a private number to “let me know”. Dysfunctional snd poorly managed.

I wouldn’t want to belong to any other yoga community more than this one. Love the instructors, the vibe, the community. I’m grateful to have BYW in my life.

I drove to the class listening to three six mafia and in good spirits just to get in here and go through the 12 stages of grief. I initially walked in and thought to myself “it’s not even that hot in here.” Apparently, heat is easier to withstand when you’re not doing shi*. 45 minutes in, I was cussing my teacher in my head and wondering why my mom is so mean. I dropped a few tears when we were going the one pose where we are supposed to be reaching for the back wall but no one could tell because I was sweating so damn much. This is the breakthrough therapists be working for. I drove home in silence. Will be back.

This is a very welcoming atmosphere! The energy is definitely unmatched. Very clean facility and provided all of the things necessary to be successful in class. The class has its challenges; the instructor talks fast, moves are fast paced, and its hot but go in there focused on what you can do and leave the rest for someone else’s business. I highly recommend a first time visit, this may just be a new home for you if you make it. Don’t forget your bottle water, towel, mat& mat towel. These cost in addition to the class! Namaste!

The quality of this studio is top notch. All of the teachers are excellent; the vibe is supportive; the space is bright, clean and beautiful; and the energy is wonderful. I love everything BYW!

I visited this studio a couple of years ago on a trial membership. Nice looking place, but I didn't like the vibe of the owner. I met her a few times at the front desk and throughout the studio. Her interaction and energy was unlike any business I have ever met, very haughty and arrogant. Girl you have not arrived. I also noticed the way she talked to her employees, I didn't like that, so I stopped going. I also heard the same from other yogis. The owner needs to take a class on customer service and employee retention. I have been practicing at my current studio for 4 yrs now, and trust me it is such a different vibe and it's cheaper that what this studio charges and with more offerings .

Ambiya was so welcoming and forthcoming when I arrived at the studio. She set the groundwork to what to expect for the 90 minute class and highlighted the keys to success. While my class of 15-20 students was certainly challenging, I’m really looking forward to my next class so I can continually improve my wellbeing. Thanks Bikram Yoga Works for putting me at ease and making my first time to your studio a blast!

I always enjoy my classes at Bikram, I've done both Pilates and Yoga. All the instructors I've had were knowledgeable and welcoming. The classes are done in a room set to around 96 degrees. Your first few classes will be difficult if it's new to you but it's absolutely worth it and a lot of fun if you like to challenge yourself. The facilities are always very clean and they offer mats , towels and storage space for you items while in the class.

I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and challenging classes! Recently, I was having trouble purchasing a package online and reached out. I received excellent customer service, truly above and beyond what I expected! Thank you so much for offering great classes and kind service via phone/email. Highly recommended

This company has terrible business ethics.I was a loyal customer at the Boston location as far back as ~2015 (I saw the studio go through owner changes). As the pandemic was hitting, I purchased a package of classes to show my support with the expectation I would have the opportunity to use them once the studio reopened.Instead, the Boston location permanently closed and when I reached out via email I was told to be patient for my refund. Eventually they stopped responding to my emails so I contacted them via phone at another studio location to explain the situation. I was told I should use my passes at one of their other locations (located hundreds of miles away).I could understand if they went out of business or if they had another location in the same metro area, though found this suggestion to use my passes in another city rude and inappropriate, especially for a long-time client.
