We got married here in October and I have nothing but positive things to say about the entire experience, I’ll break it out in parts so you won’t have to skim the entire review if you’re only looking for a single touchpoint!:SERVICE: Firstly and most importantly, Jamie, the venue owner, definitely deserves a special shout out. He was truly amazing throughout the entire process, from inquiring to the day-of coordination. He is quickly responsive and provides a TON of helpful suggestions for the planning process (which is great because since he has hosted so many weddings, he can give insight on what is needed and what can be disregarded, ways to save money, etc.). The wedding day, he was by my side when needed, but tastefully gave his distance during special or intimate moments, or when things were under control. Carried my train for me so it wouldn’t get dirty, brought us up refreshments from the coolers, helping coordinate catering set up and tear down, keeping a schedule and time management are only a few examples of how much Jamie has done to make the day perfect. He himself is truly worth booking the venue. Everything else is just an added bonus.VENUE: The venue is absolutely beautiful. You can look at photos from reviews all you want, but they truly do not do it justice. The garden for the outdoor ceremony (weather permitting), is whimsical and ornamented with well-kept trees and shrubs. The courtyard in the back of the barn is spacious and cozy, includes plenty of patio furniture, a fire pit, and of course the antiques that give guests something to admire during cocktail hour. The main barn area is of course the star of the show. Adorned with flowers, antiques, stained glass, and twinkly lights, it truly is a sight to see. Plenty of opportunity for beautiful photo ops.VALUE: 1. Given the many areas that you and your guests have access to, it allows people to spread out and have a comfortable area that anyone could enjoy. Who wants to spend tens of thousands of dollars for a venue where everyone is packed into one spot? 2. The atmosphere (regardless of what area of the venue you’re in) is decorated perfectly. No need to spend extra money on the or when the venue itself IS the decor, and I promise you, your guests will be impressed. 3. Tables, chairs and set up is all included, no need to rent (it’s one less thing to worry about, save yourself a few hundred dollars). Given all of the amenities this venue has to offer, booking your wedding here is truly a great value.Hands down, I am so glad we decided to have our wedding here and I highly recommend the soon to be newlyweds who are scouting their venue locations to give this place a visit. I attended a wedding here yesterday and was absolutely blown away both by how gorgeous this venue is, and how above and beyond Jamie went. I simply cannot emphasize enough how incredibly well done everything was. Jamie provided so much wisdom about the wedding industry, and I was delighted when I asked him about the decor and he was able to tell me about the pieces! Not just one of the most beautiful venues I’ve ever seen, you will also get the gift of working with a fantastically knowledgeable professional in Jamie. Thank you so much for indulging me when I asked you for information about your antiques, and truly going above and beyond in every way.

Everything and moreSpring Hill Manor was the only venue we toured. We knew from the start that it was the place to exchange our vows. From start to finish Jamie the owner was detail oriented, professional, and just really easy to work with. Our guests raved about the whimsical atmosphere and the laid back vibe of the whole venue. If anyone wants a fairy tale wedding you do not need to look anymore. The atmosphere, decorations are beautiful. Jamie, the owner is so kind and helpful. He help us every step of the way. My wedding guests raved about the venue., so quaint and beautiful with all the stained glass windows. I could not have asked for a better wedding. Thank you Jamie.

This venue was such an amazing place. Great location with beautiful gardens and amazing Barn. You will not be disappointed. Everything was nice and clean and well organized. The owner went above and beyond with all his hospitality and just an overall amazing place.

What a beautiful venue!! We had my daughter’s wedding there recently and it rained but having the wedding inside was even more beautiful with all the gorgeous flowers/decorations. Everyone kept asking where we found this venue - they were so impressed. The barn is so unique with so many unusual/antique items on both floors and the decorations are out of this world. Numerous stain glass pieces are hanging from the ceiling and flowers are everywhere. Just so many photo opportunities including large outdoor sculptures (i.e. a giant turtle). The outdoor patio/pool area had a covered area with a cool bar where we held the cocktail hour. The owner, Jamie, was amazing, attentive, and knows everything there is to know about weddings. His expertise was invaluable. He answered emails promptly and met us at the venue for planning meetings and on the day of the wedding, he was always available to help and the best day of wedding planner that you didn’t have to pay!

My wife and I were married at Spring Hill Manor, and we HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone who is considering it. The value for the price point is simply unbeatable - it includes the ceremonial garden, the split-level reception barn filled with aesthetic farm relics, stained glass, bountiful flower arrangements, a swimming pool lined with fire pits and plenty of seating, among many other beautiful surprises for you and your guests to discover.It would be remiss of me not to mention Jamie, who owns and operates the venue - his expertise, warmth, and diligence ensured the success our special day. We relied on his guidance and flexibility from the very beginning, all the way to the last dance, and cannot thank him enough for really being the difference maker through the whole process.Overall, if a barn wedding is what you’re aiming for, then look no further than this fully loaded, absolutely stunning venue, nestled in the rolling hills and farmland of rural Maryland.(Honorable mention to the caterer who was recommended to us by Jamie, T&M Catering, located close-by in Rising Sun MD - we lost track of how many compliments we received on the food.
