Dude... this IS the place to jam. Love the owner, super chill and it's just got a total garage band feel to it. Highly recommend and the price is super nice!!! IWe will definitely be back. Bottom Feeder.

The owner Mike is a working musician and understands the market and what gear is needed to make it work. Nice down to earth rental rehearsal space too. Give him a call

Anyone who decides to go to Rising Sun Music Emporium should think twice. You will find a dirty store, very poorly kept instruments (you can see and feel the grime on the strings), and an owner who thinks of the place as his personal instrument stash instead of an actual music business. The man takes guitars off the wall, gigs with them, and doesn't even care enough to wipe the sweat off of them before returning them to the wall. Not to mention that if you talk to him about a trade, he'll wait until you're in the store and have fallen in love with the instrument before he decides that he likes what he has and would rather keep it. All in all this place is a Craigslist swapmeet, not a legitimate business. Take the time to go to Bender in Elkton, Accent Music in Newark, or Guitar Center in Wilmington.
