We travelled back home to enjoy good food with friends local to the area. The restaurant was all decked out with holiday decor and the dinner did not disappoint ! The attentive server was cheerful and didn't mind us taking our time to 'catch up' as we stayed several hours. Those in our party enjoyed the red wine and cocktails served. The food came hot and tasty. Our favorites were the captain's cut steak with sides, fajita grilled, chicken salad and the linguini Alfredo. There was a small plumming problem in the men's room but restrooms were clean. We will be back and would recommend their nice, casual atmosphere !

Used to be a regular customer and then things started to go downhill. Good service was spotty and atmosphere very noisy with no request by management for patrons to use their inside voices. From what have read new ownership resulted in higher prices but inconsistent food quality and service. You do now have an outdoor eating area next to the creek, which should be great for the flies and mosquitos. Per facebook there was a recent allegation of racism by staff against a patron. Certainly don't support that, but rather than the owner keeping his cool, he essentially said that rednecks and those from the deep south are most likely to act that way, and should stay away. No problem . And what is up with taco night when you have Riviera Maya next door? Be creative and find your own niche.

Our first time under new ownership. Apps were fine so we had high hopes. unfortunately reality set in when we tried our meals. My wife said her Mahi was fine but my nephews "scallops" didn't even look like what we're used to i size or shape and he said they were not very good. My sister ordered the shaved beef sandwich and it looked like it had been shaved and then heated in a microwave and dried out. I ordered the prime rib and asked for an end cut. I said I did not want it recooked just served as it was. It tasted like what I would have expected if I had left it in the frig for 3 days and had grill marks on it. I could not eat it. They did take it off the check

We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner (1:45pm). I had a 6oz filet mignon which was perfectly prepared and delicious. I am looking forward to returning in the near future.

We were in the area and stopped in for dinner. The staff was great! Very welcoming and attentive. I had chicken parm which was excellent and enough for two meals. The table seating was spread out and even though it was a hot day, the AC was working great. Food came quickly and the salad was cool and fresh.

Early Bird specials. They come with a dessert. Sea bass was terrific.

Large menu for a small place. They should probably focus on fewer things. Some dishes went for $28 or more. Burgers and pasta in the teens. Friendly service. The food was good, but not “chef-worthy.” Dress ranged from casual to business casual.

Great lunch-we had the amazing crap soup followed by my husband saying he had “the best club sandwich I’ve ever had” and I had a fresh and delicious salad. Friendly and efficient service. Eager to go back and try dinner here.

It was date night, no children. We went to Buck's in Rising Sun after dropping off my F-250 for routine service nearby at my favorite Ford Dealer. We had not been to Buck's for 10 years and we were not disappointed this time. I ordered the stuffed Rockfish and my wife ordered Snow Crab Legs. We topped it off with a Pumpkin Roll that we split. I always worry about ordering fish somewhere far from the water. The Rockfish was incredible. I was pleasantly surprised but not too much having eaten Buck catering many times over the last couple of years at various events. They do a great job and this was a very pleasant evening. We are planning to go back and maybe bring our son next time. The service at Buck's was great.

We love the fine dining meals at BUCKS because they use quality ingredients. Our choice tonight was the Filet and Diver Sea Scallops. The scallops were huge, cooked perfectly and tasty; the filet was great, accented with side bernaise house sauce, but delivered too rare given our medium/rare request. Laurie our server did an efficient and admirable job. The Clipper magazine coupon afforded us $10 off our bill and was appreciated. One needs improvement for BUCKS is the cleanliness of the bathrooms, especially the womens. This has been an ongoing issue for them and they need to do deep cleaning followed up by regular touch-up.

It may have been ten years since I was in Rising Sun and visited Bucks. I pulled in at the roadside where the entrance said Bucks Tavern, but decided to walk around to see if there was an entrance to a dining room. As soon as i turned the corner, i recognized the dining entrance and entered the clean and bright room I remembered. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. I must mention the ice tea because it was good and strong and stood up to the ice throughout. I started with the Sicilian onion soup that was baked in a crock like its French cousin but topped with crispy, well seasoned onion rings and provolone. There was a variety of sandwiches, platters, wraps and salads. I chose the fried oyster platter that came with potato wedges and carrots as vegetable of the day. The six large oysters were lightly breaded and fried golden and crispy. The cocktail sauce was well made. My only concern was that the soup and platter were salted more than I am used to. The lemon meringue pie with a top up on my tea was a comforting way to end the meal. Grabbed a to go menu on the way out to plan for my next visit.

Found This restaurant passing through Maryland. Extremely happy with the great food and service by Shelly. Appetizers were delicious: coconut shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops. Rolls are freshly baked and served warm. Crabcake, ribs, filet mignon, salad, fries all delicious. Drink specials are interesting. I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

Blue Marlin Catering has great food and Shelley was amazing to work with. She went out of her way to make sure she helped us with anything in her power. We had so many compliments on all of the food which helps to make a wedding so memorable. The communication between them and us fore little thing was so quick and easy. I would recommend them over and over again!

We recently had an outdoor birthday party catered by Blue Marlin Catering for approximately 50 people. I have nothing but good to say. From the communication, the ease of menu selection, and the quality of food was spot on. The pit beef and hamburgers were made from delicious fresh meats. Not frozen patties. Our guests raved about the crab bisque and red skin potato salad The bacon wrapped scallops and drunken clams are always our favorites at Buck's and they didn't disapp
