I love this restaurant. I enjoy the bake stuff salmon and my drink a chocolate martini. The chocolate martini will sneak up on you.

My husband and I just left this establishment and it was one of the worst!!!!! The drinks r extra strong ( that's what he likes) We ordered apps. Mussels bowl of cream of crab n order oysters on the half ..... The soup was really good but the rest of the apps where horrible no less I had to ask TJ WHERE THEY WHERE AFTER 10-15 minutes after the soup ..... The Mussels where two yes two different colors after the long wait ... I sent them back .... after that I had to ask the heavy handed bartender TJ if the remaining entree was coming n he stated they should be out soon ...... No apology for the delay .... So check this out 10-12 minutes later the ( I don't even remember his Name or Title comes out n says that the chief did not like the way the Stuffed Salmon came out so they r redoing it but my husbands order is shrimp n ribs is ready n the wait will b another (FEW MINUETS) ) By the way TJ the bartenders disappearsI ,,,,, I have worked in field so I do Value another good bartender. ..... I told them to keep the food and left $20 for the drinks n LEFT ..... Will Never Return n Will B Spreading The Word .... I don't know if the food is good but the SERVICE IS HORRIBLE FOR MY MONEY ..... Brothers n Sisters Pay Attention Soul Food comes with GREAT SERVICE NOT JUST STRONG DRINKS!!!!!!

My sistas and I went here on a whim to have my birthday lunch. From the outside it is quite unassuming and looked like it was empty. Well, when we walked in the place was buzzing with patrons! Service was great! We were seated right away in a comfortable booth, our server was very pleasant (I apologize I cannot recall her name!) and helpful with answering questions about menu selections. I ordered the calamari and shrimp Alfredo with scallops added. This had to have been the creamiest alfredo I have experienced in quite a long time! The shrimp and scallops were perfectly cooked! The calamari had a delicious batter and very crisp. I also tried the house brewed iced tea and enjoyed it as well because it wasn't diabetic coma sweet as many places serve. I was mostly full by the time my entree arrived! I took home the remainder of my entree only to eat it a few hours later for my dinner. Even better!! My sistas ordered the honey fried chicken with greens, Mac n cheese, yams, crab dip, and crab bisque. I cannot speak on the crab selections since I no longer eat it nor did I sample the chicken although they all looked very appetizing and smelled great too. The Mac n cheese (quite cheesy!) and yams (not overly sweet) were delish! The greens were a tad bit salty and still very good. Will definitely visit them again when I'm in the area!

I've waited a long time to get to Collins Seafood. I finally made it Saturday. As with most of my reviews, I never remember to take pictures. My bad! I was starving! We were seated immediately. Our server started us with warm rolls and butter. Yummy! We split the crab dip appetizer, which came with buttered, crispy bread and a truly delicious dip. By the time my fish sandwich and mac'n cheese arrived we were stuffed! A word of warning. No matter how hungry you are, if you order an appetizer, Do Not Eat The Rolls! I brought my meal home and it was quite tasty! The restaurant is well laid out, with a lovely bar. I must make it back for happy hour! I recommend Took my family to celebrate my mom's 85th on 2/23/2019. Everyone enjoyed their meals from the house salad with shrimp to the seafood platter. Great meal and great price!

Overall a good place and I enjoy coming here. The service is a slower for my liking but overall the food is decent. I've done takeout as well and the food was good! My last visit I wanted to try something different so I asked my make server a few questions and it was as if he didn't want to answer or didn't know. He kept saying it's right there on the menu at one point I asked him where on the menu so I could describe it and he didn't know where to point me to. The good food is why I'm still giving 3 stars. Hopefully with a little server training I can visit again and up this to a 5 star review.

As far as the store itself, they sell alcohol! As far as service, the owner goes above and beyond. The prices are reasonable and the owner has even gone as far as to look into cheaper options for one of my usual purchases. He even looks into ordering what he diesnt carry. Sometime I walk in and he'll grab one of my regular items. The service from everyone there is amazing. Sometimes I even show up right at closing, and he'll open up for me. (I know, I'm that person, but I work odd hours and prefer to support his business.)

The food is always good. And I've never been there one time where the OWNER of the establishment wasn't physically seen in the building or stopped by my table to personally check on me. That makes me feel especially appreciated. Which always ensures that I come back. Wonderful black-owned business that I will continue to support!

I just purchased steak fish with 2 sides of macaroni and cheese. The fish could have been fried a little longer. The macaroni and cheese was 2 small scoops of dry Mac and cheese swimming in oil. Highly disappointed!!
