Beautiful trail and views
Parking: Need a permit between labor day and may 1st to park in the lot by the trail.Restrooms: There is one potor potty at the beginning of the trail.Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly trail. I saw 4 dogs while there. Clean up after them and have them on a leash and you should be golden.

About Rocks State Park - Kilgore Falls/ Falling Branch Area
The Falling Branch area of Rocks State Park is located about five miles north of the main park on a separate 67-acre parcel of land. It is home to the 17-foot high Kilgore Falls, which is Maryland's second highest vertical drop waterfall. This non-developed, environmentally sensitive area has a serene hiking trail leading back to the waterfall. *Notice! Reservations are now required to visit Kilgore Falls on weekends and holidays between May 1st and Labor Day.
