This location is in desperate need of new management! I say that because customer service is nonexistent. Multiple customers came in while I was in the store and not once did anyone bother to come out from the back to greet anyone or offer any assistance. There is a very loud bell that goes off every time the door opens, so they knew customers were coming in and out. If someone wanted to try on clothes or actually buy something, they had to get their attention in the back room to get help. Honestly, someone could have stuffed their bag full of clothes and walked out and they probably wouldn't have know it happened. One lady came to the counter and got one of the employees to come help her. In the middle of the transaction the other employee came out from the back room and interrupted her to show her something on her phone! The employee paused what she was doing to look at the phone, then laugh and talked about whatever it was instead of finishing up with the customer first. As someone who has worked in retail management, this is unacceptable. This store has a lot of potential if they actually cared and knew what customer service was.

Sales associate was ringing up my purchase. Another associate asked her to sign something, never said excuse me never asked if I would mind the interruption. Not to mention the fact that said associate continued to do what she was doing so it obviously was not something that could not have waited until my transition had been completed.

I love the clothing and fashions at Cato. My career has been in fashion, and I still get quick ideas for a fashion forward outfit by their displaysWhether it be a summer shorts, cute or casual outfit to great career looks. My only complaint is that I'm tall and a size 4. Their regular sizes are plenty long enough, but i often have a tough time finding small sizes in their Prince Frederick store. When I ask, they direct me to their website, but I rarely find time to go there. When I have time to shop, I need to make it quick and want to leave with outfits in hand. Love, love their accessories, jewelry, shoes are great too. Many styles you won't find anywhere else.Overall, just a great place to shop.
