Avoid this store. The staff is unhelpful and tried to sell me shipping boxes, claiming I couldn't return my Amazon item in the original box. Additionally, the lady wrongly accused me of using their tape while I was still holding my own. Very poor customer service.

These people are absolute thieves. They tried to get me to spend money on a box when I didn’t need one. I also saw them price gouge elderly people- honestly, this is everything wrong with a franchise. These people should be out of business and ashamed of themselves for the way they treat this community. I went across the street and got everything for free with a smile. Avoid this location at all cost costs- do not ever use the Potomac Village location-

I’ve been going here for 3 years returning Amazon packages that I have repackaged in original packing, new packaging, or that only require the scan of a QR code (no box). At times these have been very frequent returns.
Early on, when I brought a box in that wasn’t fully packaged, the woman at the store told me that next time they’d have to reject it or charge for packaging in-store. She wasn’t rude and it’s certainly reasonable that she, as a business owner, doesn’t need to consistently defray my costs.
I happily use this UPS regularly.

The two large fishbowl tip jars, with $10 bills on prominent display, was the last straw. Tipping at the UPS Store??? And with the two large (literally, fish bowls) bowls front and center, it screams "tip me!" I've found another store close by and am through with this location.

I tried to drop off Amazon return in the same box it was delivered to me, but the UPS representative wouldn't take it since it wasn't in a "brown" shipping box. She then tried to sell me a $20 brown box, which I declined to do. Amazon will send a UPS driver to pick it up now. Ugh, such a waste of time for everyone.

Scammers! Amazon Package that I returned to them was delivered in the original box, they said it must be put into another box even though that was not the way it was delivered. Paid the $12.95 and have moved on to the next UPS store! Beware!Update (May 5): Their response further proves the dishonesty! See attached picture which is an example of a product being shipped to me by UPS in the “Manufacturer’s Box”! If I return it, you’re saying I have to put it in a box that it didn’t come in?!?! Unbelievable!!

they stole a $200 item from me by treating it like they would package it later and then giving me a register receipt and no UPS shipment receipt. Because I was shipping other items I didn't notice until later. Do NOT trust this location.

I’ll rather drive further and take my business elsewhere. Franchise owner makes it extremely difficult to return Amazon items and insists on certain type of packaging, tapping and labeling. She does everything to make you feel uncomfortable returning. Suggest going to the other side of Potomac UPS store, where there are much more helpful and considerate.
