If you have a white skin or you qualify as a "regular customer" then this a great shoe shop. Very wide selection of shoes. But mind you that buying six pairs of shoes in less than a year does not qualify you as a "regular" at this store and since there is really nothing you can do about skin colour you must reconsider your visit. You might be discriminated against during busy time.Today was one such day and I happened to be at the receiving end.The store has a policy that each staff member attends to one customer at a time and this rule is sacrosanct. I was asked to leave the store and wait outside because the staff couldn't go inside and pick a shoe for me. No fitting was needed as I knew what I wanted. However, when a white lady who was also a regular walked in she was welcomed inside even though none of the staffers were available. The rule was thrown out of the window. This customer referred to the assistant manager as the sweet Turkish guy and that did the trick. He smiled and let her along with me violating their sacrosanct rule. When I brought this to the store management's attention, I was told that I was creating a scene. There was no apology or acknowledgement of what went wrong. The assistant manager told me that it was okay if I didn't want to come again and smirked. He also mentioned that he has no history of my previous shoe purchases indicating that I wasn't important enough and hadn't earned the privilege of the regular status.Maybe I would have qualified as a "regular" by the end of this year but I won't bother after this experience. Please check your "regular" status and skin colour before visiting this store.

Took my disabled son here on the recommendation of other parents in the disabled community. What a great place. Staff had the sort of knowledge we'd normally only find in professional physical therapists and occupational therapists. As thoughtful and knowledgeable as you could be about fitting shoes for kids with differences in gait, posture etc. Made me think there ought to be places like this in every city.

The service here is great and they know kids shoes like no other place. There can be a wait at times, but it's worth it!

racist employees and managers. I was taking my nephew to use their bathroom and I overheard these fitters saying very disgusting things that they want to do to the customers and their kids. I can't tell you how sickened I was. These people will literally smile in your face, but they're really talking filth about you when they go in the backroom to get your kids shoes. What also shocked me was how they have enough bathrooms but refused to let this child with an emergency use any. But they let me and other paying families to use their bathrooms. I regret ever bringing my nephews here. Never again will I come back

Outstanding, highly organized, extremely efficient service. More specifically, a gentleman by the name or Luca helped us and he was so incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and caring when he took care of our boys. His recommendations and guidance were spot on with what our doctors recommended. We will definitely go out of our way to see him again. Thank you Luca!

We had a wonderful experience. Ken helped us get both of our kids properly fitted. We were the last customers and did not feel rushed at all. It was worth the drive from Dc. Really great experience. We had a family dinner in the nice shopping center afterwards. Will definitely return.

I’ve heard many great reviews about this store. But they don’t know how to measure your kids feet. They don’t even know that you can take the inner sole out to see if it’s the right size. Better to check your child’s size yourself.

Such a shame to be so RUDE and RASICT on Martin Luther king's junior day. We went to Shoe Train in Cabin John village and bought 2 pair of shoes that were on sale. The store manager Ken Neufeld, treated us terribly. He said he wants to take care of his other customers that buy shoes at regular price first, even though we were at the cashier before them. That was an absolute discrimination. He repeatedly told us you are only paying $15 for those shoes. That means the way he treats customers depends on how much they spend. We absolutely wont go back there nor recommend anyone to go.

Great service. Great selection. We’ve been here for the past two years each time our toddler needs new shoes. I used to waste time and effort trying to size him myself and buy shoes online but now we just go here.

I hope this place stays around. If you’re looking for someone to fit your child for shoes, particularly if they have odd sizes this is the spot. Wide selection of kids shoes and orthopedics. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you want. Found this far easier than trying to figure out the correct shoe sizes and trying to buy online.

one of the best kids shoe stores around. the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. particularly for younger kids they make all the difference in getting children the right shoes. they also have a lot of experience with kids who have extra needs for their shoes and are great for that.
