Jake’s MOVING and Storage is one unbelievable company. It is a gem to find it in our current stressful and hectic world.
Simon and his crew not only moves furniture, boxes ? porcelains and antiques . Also, he packs ?️ it all fast. In a very smart and business like fashion. My family used his moving/storage space several times already. It is very hard to find such profesional moving storage business owner and his very hard working crew. If you don’t want any headache and high rated expertise don’t hesitate to make a phone call to his company. All will be done for your fast and you will be very happy.
If needed he can even arrange to move or ship your sedan to a different state. In my case his coming moved me far away 900 miles in no time. Life savor!

I needed help with a last minute move from a 1st floor to 3rd floor apartment. Scheduling was easy pricing was straightforward no hidden fees. The guys were professional, timely, and courteous they were able to move us in about 3 hours as expected. They even arrived early I'd highly recommend these guys!

Truly an unreliable business. Rude and unprofessional. Do not believe other reviews, they delete the negatives. It's suspicious that their latest reviews are months ago. Quality must have really gone down as our experience was not good at all.

During the selling of our home and purchasing a new one, I was actively looking for a good moving and packing company. I found a great one in Jake's Moving and Storage. John was nothing short of fantastic! He made certain to explain the whole process with patience. I felt the estimate was fair and was less than another one I received. The Packing Team was very efficient and respectful of my Home. Anderson and his Moving Team showed up on time and went right to work. They did a great job and did not damage anything in either of my houses. I highly recommend these folks!

We reached out to Jake's Moving and Storage after Christmas to move my elderly mom quickly into a memory care facility out of state. Eli was my contact person and he was kind and understanding of our situation. He was able to schedule us in one week. He reassured me that they would take care of everything and put our minds at ease. The three movers arrived early and started on time. They were efficient and careful with the items. No damage was done.We have moved numerous times in over 36 years and Jake's Moving and Storage stands out as a top performer. We believe they are competitively priced. The cost included all packing materials, tolls, gas and over eight hours travel time. They offered a senior discount for my elderly mom which equaled the fee for using a credit card. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them in the future.

Used Jake's for a long-distance move from NY to DC. Lowest quote I got by far from the 10 or so companies I inquired from. One other company couldn't believe the price was so low and actually checked to see if they were DOT-certified (they are).Service was great, arrived on time and took care packing and moving fragile items.

I wish I thought to hire these people sooner. They gave me an appointment within 1 week of contacting them. Quick service, responsive to email AND telephone.I needed 1 Queen-size mattress to be moved same-day, they showed up, wrapped my mattress in plastic to protect it during transportation, and brought it straight over to my new place all within 30 minutes. I'll be contacting them again in the future when I need to move again in a year.

I have used other moving companies in the past and have never received the up front service and the friendly and professional service the actual movers performed.
